This is so much more than just an expensive place to stay. You are in a family compound and are treated as such. They make sure you are comfortable and look after you. A few days after I arrived, I thought I had an infection on my foot (new tattoo in New Zealand). They encouraged me to go to the clinic. The drove me, waited with me and brought me back safely. They also taught me how to wear my sarong and sash properly (for royal cremation ceremony). My room(s) were nice and very clean. Towels .
all reviews » This family run home stay was a find from the start. The mum provides a constant supply of hot water for coffee and tea, and fruit, snacks and other yummy goodies. The free breakfasts are amazing! something different every day and i loved my first cheese-banana jaffle! The sons are excellent travel guides (you can do say trips with them) and will help you plan your trip - they are honest, friendly and knowledgable. We spent a night in the cheaper, fan only room, which was nice and comfortable, and fan was enough to keep cool. Then we upgraded for the next night as there were no other rooms available, and the deluxe room is gorgeous, with ornately carved doors and balcony. Breakfast is pretty good, with fresh fruit and something hot (omelette / toasties). Also, although it initially seemed a long walk from the perama bus stop, we found the location to be very good. I highly recommend anyone who is thinking about staying in Ubud to stay at Suparsa's. They were always more then willing to help. The food is fantastic. Nice clean rooms with hot water showers. Beautiful garden areas. Just a short stroll to Ubud central. They're son Putra is very helpful and speaks good english to help point you in the right direction. Next time we're in Ubud we will definitely stay at Suparsa's :). Putre and tris were the friendliest people and super accommodating. Very honest and kind-hearted. Took me to my yoga retreat location on the moped, went back for my suitcase and would not take a dollar for the 2 trips! I felt completely comfortable and safe in their family compound. The breakfasts were some of the best I have had to date in my 2 weeks in Bali so far. Great value stay- no fuss but everything a low maintenance individual needs. Bed was. Wry comfortable and felt clean. I had a bad sore eye when I was here. Putra's mum was so kind and concerned. She fed me afternoon tea as I had to stay indoors. The other staff Dayu is also very warm and helpful. As I couldnt go out to get souvenirs, Putra was kind enough to get some for me. Purchase from Ibu tickets to Kecak performance (Weds and Sats), 6 minutes walk from Suparsa. This place put a smile on your face. You realise that you made the right decision from the moment you step in the door. Putra and his family greet you with the warmest smile. The veranda outside the room around the magic garden has your own sofa and table where tea and coffee is served all day. The room is nice and clean. You'll be served delicious toast with honey, sugar an a hint of lemon, fresh fruits, and omelette for breakfast. This guesthouse was a pleasure to stay in for the 3 days we were staying in Ubud. We were greeted we friendly faces of the staff and offered tea/coffee on arrival (this being a regular thing during our stay) The rooms were cleaned dayley and the free breakfast was wonderful. Closely situated a 3 minute walk from the main road but far enough so it was peaceful and quiet. Would for sure stay here if we come back to Ubud :). The hotel was comfortable beyond our expectations. There was a big wardrobe, quite enough light in the room, free water. Very clean! Breakfast was tasty and it was not one and the same every day. The location of the hotel is good too - it takes some minutes to walk to the main road; Ubud market and Royal palace are very close. We didn´t find a good warung or cheep cafe close to the hotel, though maybe there is one. Incredibly friendly staff/family really make you feel welcome, so kind and helpful. Room was lovely and clean (cleaned daily), comfy bed, terrace out the front of the room was a lovely place to relax in the heat and meet your neighbours. Breakfast was always good and there's tea and coffee whenever you like. We booked 2 night and ended up staying 4, and we're headed back in a few days time. Highly recommended. The host family was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They picked me up from the airport very late at night on very short notice. I was always greeted with a smile whenever we interacted and they were very attentive to all my needs. Lastly, they arranged transport for me to the Gili islands at a very affordable price. The entire family will do anything to make your stay as comfortable as possible for an unbeatable price. A 10 minute walk from Ubud main road makes it convenient. Ubud is a nice village with a market place, rice fields and a good location to stay a few days when you are traveling Bali from North to South. We can really recomend a homestay, especially Supersa's, the family can take you for a daytrip and/or transport you from/to other locations for fare price. For market and tourism trips you have to negotiate for food prices!!. The family is lovely and very accommodating, there was breakfast made for us every morning when we woke up, always hot water and clean cups for tea/coffee. When we asked for milk they especially got it for us and delivered it with breakfast each day. We ended up staying 2 days longer then we booked. The home is very nice and its a fantastic experience. Suparsa's family was really nice and lovely. Grandma always sweeps the yard and floor. Mr suparsa always smiles and tried to help us Mrs Suparsa cooks really nice and it was really delicious. their son's english was good and gave us good information. I can't forget staying there and i will definitely stay there when I go back to Bali. . AMAZING staff would help you in any way, had breakfast on porch every morning at any time you needed , so clean , small family so take great pride in there bungalows , order take out for us one night , organised bus , new rooms with hot powerful shower , locations about 5 mins walk along one road to get to main bit .. Very charming, green house about ten minutes walk from the main street: it's close enough that you can get everywhere in Ubud by foot, but you are not in the middle of all the traffic & noise! This is more for the owners - some improvements might be soap/shampoo in the bathroom and an extra blanket in case it gets cold. A bit of a walk to downtown, but not horrible. Higher voltage lighting in the room would make it less dark and cheerier as the window is overshadowed by a structure. Nothing... Everything was Excellent :). It may be a little bit noisy, because above the windows there are ventilation openings - so you can hear what the other guests are talking about if they speak a bit loudly. Also the bed was scueaking. But in general the place is really fantastic!!. About a five minute walk down to the main road, but walking is good for you and means the setting is quiet!. 5~6minute distance from the main street. Ubud is quite calm and quiet area. it was really bit dark to walk when i came back home late. some dogs barked.. (i am seriously afraid of dogs...). The street is a bit dark at night, but you just need to take a torch with you to be ok!. None. My partner found the (very) firm mattress a bit of a challenge for his back, but apart from that we loved our stay!. Nothing, everything was just perfect. The fact we didn't have time to stay longer. Nothing actually. Sure, maybe a swimming pool would be nice, but yeah, doesn't fit :-). A pocket of ants crawling on the bed, and thereabouts. This is common in Bali, however, it's hard to stem the tide of ants in the budget accommodations. Nothing, everything was great!. No air con in the room so that was a little hot to sleep but that's really the only negative point. it takes a 5-10 min walk to get to main streets. it is not a long walk but it is a dark street to walk at night. it didn't bother us though. their wifi did not work during my stay but they took care of it out very quickly. I wish had more sun light into the room. there is window but wasnt enough for me. Hot water supply not consistence. All was amazing no downpoints. The bathroom was not so comfortable to take shower. I liked everything!!!. none. Nothing. Honestly, nothing. It's a great deal in Ubud! You get what you pay for. Only slight negative was it was 10 mins walk into town it no big deal.
