Excellent location, just a short walk to centre of Ubud yet set in quiet garden. Beautiful temple across the street. Garden setting was lovely, spacious with lots of trees and flowers to enjoy. The 2 swimming pools were great (the smaller one sits high above the larger pool with water cascading down into the lower pool-could be a bit stressful for parents with very young mobile children). The staff were very friendly, helpful and attentive. Breakfast out in the garden by the pool was lovely. Fe.
all reviews » Amazing! We stayed in a private pool villa and it's quite amazing. A kitchen and breakfast space outside, the pool, the room with a lot of space, the nice people always trying to help, the natural environment, a big bath tube, everything was really good. Not very far the centre of Ubud... you can walk and get there in about 15 minutes or less! we really felt home here... In the messy and touristic Bali, this place makes you feel what was the island when the tourists were just arriving!!!. We loved the pool area and the private balcony breakfasts. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean and had everything we needed. We were able to easily book affordable day trips/cooking classes through reception and could get a local 'taxi' back from town (2-3 minutes) for about a dollar when it rained!. This little villa was a fabulous find. Great location in a local village just a short walk into the centre of Ubud. Quite, private and very relaxing. Our villa was clean and comfortable and breakfast by the pool each morning was great. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. I look forward to returning to this great spot. We liked everything. The staff was nice, the swimming pool is very good, the tv has a lot of channels, wifi was good, clean and neat. It isn't in the main road in ubud but its in walking distance to it, 5 min, and we think its better that way because its more quiet. If we go back to ubud we would stay there again. Only 4 rooms in 2 bungalows means few other guests. Very quiet and relaxing. The garden and pool area make you feel you´re in a much more expensive place. Very quite once inside the grounds.,it has nice gardens and not a long walk to the center of Ubud ,we went with a family so they had a two bedroom cottage, also we liked the Jazz Cafe for live music in the evenings just a short stroll away.. The staff were very warm and helpful. The cottages are set within lovely, well maintained gardens. There's a very nice swimming pool at the bottom of the property overlooking the jungle. Breakfasts are to order and enjoyable. Very friendly owners, provided detailed information on different activities around. I liked location not far from the main street but at the same time in silent area. 2 swimming pools is a great bonus. The peace and quiet and the friendly attitude and willingness of the staff to make for a pleasant stay. The many international English speaking tv channels on offer as well as the local Indonesian. The hotel was not clearly not what was expected so nothing. Maybe just a small tip to enrich the breakfast a little bit... It was poor... The hotel is only about a 5-8 minute walk to the centre of Ubud - very easy, very good location...except for the local dogs on the street. With the rabies problem it worried us at night but didn't seem seem to be a big problem. The only thing we didn't like was having to leave. nothing. The bathroom was a little outdated. Neighboring homes dogs yapping in the day ,But thankfully quite at night. The place is a little removed from the centre of Ubud, but within walking distance. Didn't have hot water initially and ask to fix it, they did it fast. Breakfast should be improved. A neighbours never ending and annoying crowing rooster. It didn't seem to know the difference between dusk and a dark cloud covering the sun during the day. I have a solution but I don't think you would print it. The lights in the main room are very dim and would probably suit a couple of young lovers but for the rest of us old realists, perhaps a rheostat so that the lights can be turned up fully if needed. No meals available other than the included breakfast. There was nothing we didn't like. room needed a table and chairs for evenings since the mosquitoes are fierce, better lighting in rooms. nothing. nothing. Just a little to far for the restaurants/cafe. A slight negative only maybe the breakfast could be a bit more adventurous or varied. The only thing we van think of are the midnight noises, mainly dogs and roosters. But it seems imposaible to escape them. Its everywhere we went in bali. Nothing. Bathrooms are a bit dated. Terrible shower - took ages for hot water and then it showered everywhere. Uncomfortable balcony chairs, threadbare towels, slow to clean room. Very dim, not enough light in the bedroom. many dogs barking frequently. Lack of facilities. Nothimg. - Very bad smell in the room and in the bathroom; - Very poor breakfast (only egg based, the same each day); - The bathroom needs to be renovated; - During our 3 nights stay, the towels were not changed at all; - Little far away from the city centre. not convenint as dont have phone inside the hotel so if anything need to walk to frontdesk to ask for help. 1) Nobody at the reception from 6pm until the next day 2) No phone in the room to reach anyvbody 3) Dirty bathroom and stains everywhere on the wall 4) Broken and dirty fridge, TV not working, AC not working, sink leaking 5) Bad value for the price and no sorry from the owner 6) No welcome drink upon arrival and not even a chair at the reception to relax. No food or drinks to buy and no help to get around the place, lights turned down eveywhere for the night. Worst experience ever. everything was old.
