First and foremost, the staff is absolutely amazing. The Chandi is quite small, with 17 private villas, resulting in staff that's on a first name basis with all the guests, delivering fantastic service. We have never felt more welcome at any hotel else where. Every request is taken care of without hesitation and followed by a big genuine smile. In addition the location of the hotel is stunning, sitting on a beatiful private beach with the sea almost licking your feet at breakfast, lunch or din.

Fantastic atmosphere, super friendly and helpful staff (Abi, Matazam, Zaki: we miss you already! :-) ), lovely and private rooms with outdoor rain shower, high quality restaurant, which serves world's best dessert: the chocolate volcano, the chef's own lava cake which we just had to have after every single diner! Its proximity to the Gili Islands allow for a day trip with a local fisher boat. We stayed at The Chandi for 6 nights in a garden view villa. The size of the room was great and outdoor shower was fantastic. The bed was the most comfortable we have experienced in Asia. The staff were very welcoming and friendly and the grounds/pool were very well kept. Plenty of options for day beds either in the sun or under the shady palm trees. The whole experience of this resort was perfect. The level of service from the staff was exceptional. If you want to get away from it all and discover pure relaxation, the Chandi is ideal. The food was incredible and for such an exclusive resort, the prices were not sky high. Happy hour cocktails were great value too. Awesome design of the villas, the garden and the pool area. The coconut trees and the ample plants + your own villa with front porch really makes you feel relaxed. The resort only has 17 villas and location is just in front of the beach. Staff were very nice, accommodating and funny - especially Moha!. Chandi is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The villas are amazing, the outdoor shower is absolute luxury and the beachside location makes for excellent sunset pictures and cocktails. One of the most memorable stays on our trip. I'd recommend to anyone for a few nights. We loved our 8 day stay at the Chandi Resort, we stayed in an ocean view villa. The resort is clean and the staff are all wonderful . The restaurant food quality, price and variety is terrific. Thank you to all the wonderful staff we will be back. The restaurant food is very good, particularly breakfasts. The ambience with lawns, palms, pool and separated bungalows is excellent and beautifully lit at night. The bar area is excellent for sunsets, and happy hour is a hit!. Stayed 2 nights, perfect hotel. Very clean and stylish villa. Garden was beautiful. the restaurant in front of the beach was calm. romantic, and just sound of wave. Food was nice. Also hotel stuff were friendly and helpful. Almost everything, the Resort is perfect as long as you have an Ocean front Villa.We will return and have strongly recommended this resort to family and friends. The food and service outstanding, Great value for money. The Chandi was one of the friendliest resort that we have stayed at. It is located right on the beach and is one of the smaller resort easy to meet other patrons and very relaxing. On the whole a wonderful place. Excellent service, lovely bungalows, cool bathrooms, fabulous restaurant, on the beach, great staff, great lunch and dinner menus, super cocktails, very relaxing and luxurious. Worth every penny!. The location is right on the beach and the facilities are excellent. The hotel has a driver who is available to take you into Senggigi village which is about 5 minutes drive - about $2 by taxi. Staff is friendly, funny and helpful. Villas are very clean, spaceful and charming. It was a great place to relax for 3 days after 3 weeks backpacking in Lombok. The peace and quiet, very few hawkers, beautiful scenery, good breakfast and generally good amenities. View to the ocean from our executive garden room. the staff at receptionist welcomed us very nice, they have good attitude.... we have a pleasant stay at there...nice + clean hotel, delicious meal. a wonderful little gem where the people working there are ready for every problems and for every wishes.....a fantastic boutique resort!. Rooms were very spacious and clean, staff very friendly, a very relaxing environment. The resort was the best thing about Sengiggi. The atmosphere was so relexing and the view so good ,that was for people who want have a break from busy and retiree people life. Very small and quiet hotel, not a lot of people. Wifi all over the Place. Nothing. Transport from the new International airport to Senggigi can take quite a while due to the busy traffic. This trip will take only 40 minutes at night, but up to one and a half hour during the day. Not a problem of the hotel who cleaned the beach everyday but a little problem for Lombok in General. If the tides and current flow in a certain way around Sengiggi bay, litter from the ocean gets pushed ashore. As sign of increased tourism to Lombok? Maybe. Though I'm sure actions will be put in place to prevent it as tourism increases even further. Some of the towels were torn due to the washing but somehow they were still served - not sure the manager knows this. It's not a big deal but something for improvement of quality ;). Nothing not to like here. The villa is big and could do with better (more) seating in the lounge. It is more than walking distance from Sengiggi, or anywhere else, but the local taxi service is excellent, and the hotel has a van. There is some noise of local traffic. Couldn't swim the beach in front of the hotel. We should take taxi for swimming but by considering cost performance,it cannot be companied because hotel was very nice. The room we were given was a family room with an adjoining door that was locked and used for other couples.No sound proofing and unable to sleep till they turned the tv off. This is was the only one at the resort -Room 206. Requested a move but only able to move us for the last 2 nights. Nothing. Nothing at all!. Sometimes the noisy street behind the hotel can be annoying. Its the real tourist thing, you're in a contained area where local spirit can't enter. Curtain were a bit dirty and could use a clean. Air conditioner was just acceptable. Muslim prayers over a loud speaker at 4.15am not far from the resort. unfortunately the beach out of the part managed by th hotel is dirty and it's difficult to access to the ocean so we've to remain at the pool area. The beach is not very good, very close to the road. Noise from traffic and the nearby farm woke me very early each morning. Because the resort is on a corner you get the noise of the motorbikes as they slow down to approach the corner and then again as they take off around it. Otherwise the location is perfect. The beach is not good for swimming, too many large rocks etc. And there were sooo many mosquitoes at night even though the rooms were sprayed, I just couldn't sleep. Dirty beach. the location its little far to downtown，if u rent motobike it's ok. Staff attention go a bit slack toward the end of our stay. Maybe a different rotation?. A bit isolated (but that is what we wanted). not much. Location is poor: a little far from senggigi centre (10 minutes by taxi, about 13000idr); beach in front of the hotel not very beautiful. I didn't like semi open bathroom. Need to arrange car or take taxi to attractions, as insuffient facilites to treat as an integrated resort. The beach is awful or it's better to say there is no beach at all. There is almost not possible to swim in the sea. I had a snail in my salad and the chef hasn't cooked another one, just gave me the same one but without snail. The rooms are quite old and dirty. The hotel is far from any entertainment. We have moved to another hotel after first night and they have charged us for 2 nights!. Badly Trained Personal (some guys a trying to do a good job) We nearly had everyday complainants( dirty bed 3 or 4 times, never had towels without stains, served burned pastries on breakfast, the cuisine is poor) We were offered that we could be brought to sengiggi with the hotel car for the same price as a normal cab! It was twice as much. We are talking about 10k rp it's not much but it's the attitude thinking tourists are ATM machines and u can mess around.
