The room we got was incredible - very modern and stylish with a great private pool. The hotel staff were amazingly friendly. The breakfasts were the best we had on this trip to Bali (made better by the music and dancing provided every morning). The location was great - just a short walk through the 'cut through' and you were on the main street. The room was quiet (no street noise, though the noise level would totally depend on your resort neighbours). I think this place provided superb value fo.
all reviews » It was situated in a good spot. We were close to the hustle and bustle, but felt we were in our own private Oasis. We did have a private villa and pool, and are happy that we didnt stay in the lagoon Villas as it was very noisy and busy at that end of the resort. The staff were super friendly and accommodating. unique design, loved the access straight to the pool, very nice, the pool is great, jump straight from your room into the pool, location is good, quiet but easily accessible to main seminyak rd, staff as usual in bali very friendly and helpful, easy, loved the layout of the room/villa bed upstairs really nice. The staff are amazing, lovely people. We stayed in a 2 bedroom private villa with our own pool and they set up a pool fence as we had a 11 and 18 month old children with us. A villa in bali is definately the way to go. The Royal Villa was great. Very comfortable, relaxing and secluded. Water cooler in the villa was great so you don't run out of bottles of drinking water. Our private pool was used a lot! Extremely comfortable beds. Staff incredibly friendly, good selection at breakfast. Royal Villa was fantastic accommodation, very spacious with the private pool and garden very well maintained. The private plunge pool & the staff in general. They went the distance to accommodate our every request. Breakfast - although not a big spread - was yummy!!!. The friendliness of the staff was excellent. They couldn't of been more helpful. Really made our stay there a highlight. Hotel staff were very friendly. Room sizes were generous and the free buggy service was prompt and useful. The location in Seminyak is good, you can get around to other parts easily, staff were very friendly, and even though sometimes did not really provide they did at least give the effort ;-) and villa was clean. Location, Staff. Location. Pool. The bed was a bit hard. The food was a bit bland and unappetising. We didn't eat there much except for breakfast. Which was a pity as they sometimes had live music and tried to create a lovely ambience. They should also cater more for young children. We found it difficult feeding our 17 month old. small downside although not massive is that the tele is downstairs, so you can watch tv in bed, toilet is downstairs so if u get up during the night u have to walk down...but no major issue just small things really-overall great place. The location wasn't the best especially with young children. Close to the supermarket but to do any real shopping you need to catch a taxi, very cheap fares though, $3 any direction. The villa had a real open living area with no cooling so if you wanted a break from the heat or to entertain the kids you had to be in your bedroom. To cut a long story short, let's just say that we think the Royal Villa is much better than the Executive Villa. Bathroom design was slightly awkward with unusually tall sinks and deep step into shower. The sink & bath tub were blocked, so water sipped very slowly. The hollowed out tub bathroom did not look very clean, toilet could be further spruced up. The low water temperature in the private jacuzzi, didn't make it very inviting to spend more than 2 minutes sipping a drink in there. it was very hot at breakfast the fans did not do much. Opening hours of pool (9am to 9pm). the location was away from all the famous attractions. A little expensive compared to other villas in Seminyak. Villa was old, a bit frayed at the edges, breakfast a non event but edible. Open air lobby, restaurant & villa dinning area. Most of the lights not working in the villa Condition of villa bad Mosquitoes No wifi as promised Services sucks!. Too expensive Not online price cheeper Too low light in the room.
