We booked this hotel after long consideration of other budget hotel options and finally turned out a good choice too. We were greeted by a freindly staff and welcome drink. We booked 2 rooms for 5 adults and had to adjust as no option for extra bed. But good that no extra charges for the 5th person except for the breakfast charges for the 5th person. Adjacent rooms have link doors hence got 1 big family room. Seminyak is lot cleaner and better than kuta (according to us) as Kuta is now more ur.
all reviews » This is something that I have to comment about. The staff there is awesome! Very attentive, friendly and helpful, they are always putting a big smile on their face which makes me happy too. I went there to stay last week with a friends and when we checkout the room, we forgot to take out our passports, ipad and valuable items from the safe. Without realising, we went off to the beach and relax. When we came back to the hotel to collect our baggage, they showed us our passports and the valuable . The favehotel is a very stylish and modern hotel, the rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. The staff is really nice. The town is nearby, there are a lot of good restaurants with very affordable prices all around the hotel. The way to the beach is ~700m and it takes about 10 min to walk there. In contrast to many other comments, we experienced a very quiet hotel, even though we were there in high season (September). The Favehotel staff were fantastic, extremely helpful and very friendly. The facilities are good with clean and modern rooms, a swimming pool, bar and restaurant and spa treatment available. Location was central to shopping areas in one direction and the beach the other. I would recommend the Favehotel to anyone looking for a hotel in Seminyak. Staff are friendly especially Dewi at the front desk. She allowed me to borrow her helmet. Room was cleaned and comfy. However the shower shoap tube wasnt working properly #522. Location is near to the beach and bars. Cafe and resto are just nearby. I like fave hotel seminyak and Umalas.Valuable for money. Ths staff in particular were really welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Stayed here for two nights in between villa blubambu which is just around the corner (and amazing) but were booked up and lembongan island. Can be very noisy as it is close to restaurants and bars with live music (an ear plug can solve), also it is possible to hear people in the corridors and innthe apartment above. (Again, with an ear plug problem was soved). There was a strange smell sometimes nearby the pool. During the weekends there is a live band playing till 1 am. But didn't disturb me too much. No internet cafe? no yellow pages about the city? no gym; no scale to measure luggage; improve english to all staff;. Too many people for breakfast and at the pool. Breakfast had lot of asian style food but no so many western variety yet good enough for a try!. Breakfast is included, yes, but it's mainly rice and noodles. Omelettes are available most days though (although one day they weren't...) but I expected a bit more for the money with breaky. The noise from the local bars at night. Small rooms and a little run down (it is a budget hotel) but still mostly clean. Smelt a little damp but only noticed it when we had come back to the room from being out. We were on the second floor and was quiet there but a friend was staying on the first floor, ground floor and said it was quite noisy from the nightclubs. The base from their music etc. For the first time ever I was disappointed with the service at check in. No smile, no welcome - just take my passport and signature... Glad it was only a 12 hour stopover as I had come from Ubud - to shop before my midnight flight - I needed a place to set bags and shower. Travel to Bali approx. 4 times a year, always stay a night in Seminyak before going to Ubud. I don't think I will stay in here again. There are cheaper, friendlier/professional staff and with better facilities in this area.. Front desk a bit confused but pleasant. I had an emergency, needed to add 1 night. Front deck said full. So I went upstairs and booked it on letsbookhotel.com website. There is really no lobby. Only a hard bench seat and chair. I arrived early and had to wait to check in. No comfortable place to sit and wait or to meet someone. Breakfast buffet very limited. No coffee in room. Sound from loud children and adults too can be heard very easily through the room's door. I stayed on the 6th floor, that something soundly at the roof top. at the first time, i was thinking that was a mouse at the end of the staying i saw that was birds stayed . it was made me surprised every midnite. I woke up suddenly when the birds make the sound " bruk.brukk..bruk..". Breakfast was poor and there was a lot of noise from A) party peeps, B) the hotel itself. If you are a sound sleeper or can handle earplugs... you are good to go.
