My friend and I had never been to Bali and wanted to stay at a quiet, hassle free location. The Parigata resort and spa was exactly that. It was very clean inside the room and around the grounds. Staff were friendly and always happy. We could exchange money at the resort and it actually had better rates than most places. The beach was very close. The pool was beautiful and a fantastic place to relax and enjoy the cocktails! We loved staying here and would stay again if ever in bali :-).

Everything was great. Location. staff were very nice and accommodating, close to beach rooms nice and clean. The Wifi internet was available in public areas but wasnt always strong coverage. Only thing maybe was the beach resort was only lounges & tables on the beach.Food & even drink had to come from our accommodation. could have had at least a large esky on the beach with drinks. The building works both sides of hotel. No umbrellas around pool, or limited shade. Maybe the intermittent WiFi. limited choice for breakfast grey towels building next door. 1/ not enough lounges beside pool, 2/ Terrible tv viewing choices - there are only 2 english Tv channels, (1 channel which repeated the same 3 or 4 movies over and over again during our 4 day stay, and the other only showed cnn american debates about the Afgani war 24/7) 3/ Had to walk 5-10 minutes to get to beach club - this Parigata is not direct beach front. 4/ Not very much variety in breakfast - little choice. Same problem as last year, sometimes warm beer at pool side. And they offer ice!! This is a crime. Anyway refrigerator in room works;). Next door construction works (building a new hotel) which is planned to finish in 2015 does actually cause some noise. Nothing. promotes eco awareness but staff are not trained to follow the instructions printed - towels left for reuse are changed anyway and when I told the room boy not to bother changing the sheets, he thought it meant I didn't want the bed made at all!!!. Too far from airport and Kuta area. no connection to the beach. Nothing bad. Its a bit tired and dated. too quiet for us, would have liked to have known this resort really does cater for very mature aged people. no night life around this resort at all. If you want to go somewhere that is bustling this place in not for you. we were bored by the end of day 3. If you are under 50 years of age, I'd say look else where. Not enough loungers around the pool, hogged by germans.
