  Location is close to the beach and cafe/restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was great, but unfortunately only available during weekends, as they anticipate more guest during this period.   As a 40+ solo traveller I enjoyed the comforts provided by Kaluku Bungalow including the king bed, air conditioning, and private outdoor shower and toilet which was beautifully designed with natural slate and stone. There are only a handful of bungalows available at Kaluku and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the banana pancakes ... what people say » for breakfast. The views from the shore in front were very calming and relaxing. The Kaluku bungalows are not budget or backpacker accommodation for G - The bungalow is clean and nice. It is on the beach as all hotels on Gili island are. The shower and toilet are under the sky;) Breakfast is simple but nice. It's better to go to other places to swim and lay on the beach as there is no actually beach in front of the hotel and the sea is not deep enough. The island is perfect, it's like paradise!

  The staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough to help me. They booked trips for me and made me feel very comfortable. The hotel itself is very new and so the facilities are all in excellent condition. It's extremely comfortable and it's small enough that it feels personal. - The room was great and clean.   Everything. Very friendly staff, we could check in at noon and leave our luggage safe at the hotel. Nice and big room for 2 people. With fridge, couch, bed, walk in shower. Outside terrace with 4 chairs and 2 sunbeds. Plunch pool was also great. How fun if you can jump in the pool straight from your bed haha! Price and quality was good.
