  As a 40+ solo traveller I enjoyed the comforts provided by Kaluku Bungalow including the king bed, air conditioning, and private outdoor shower and toilet which was beautifully designed with natural slate and stone. There are only a handful of bungalows available at Kaluku and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the banana pancakes ... what people say » for breakfast. The views from the shore in front were very calming and relaxing. The Kaluku bungalows are not budget or backpacker accommodation for G - The bungalow is clean and nice. It is on the beach as all hotels on Gili island are. The shower and toilet are under the sky;) Breakfast is simple but nice. It's better to go to other places to swim and lay on the beach as there is no actually beach in front of the hotel and the sea is not deep enough. The island is perfect, it's like paradise!

  The staff were warm and efficient. In particular Hanni, Wati and the masseuses made an impression on us with their advice and bubbly personalities. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the housekeeping staff were friendly as well as efficient. We looked forward to returning every day to find a fresh and pristine room. On - the staff were fantastic we had many laughf with them our toilet got blocked at 8pm they emidatly moved us to another room the breakfast was great along with all the food we diddnt bothe to eat anywere else the beach was out front of resturant there is on cars or scooters there transport is horse and cart or push bike you can ride a push bike around the island in 1hr and swim on deserted beaches the locals were also very frendly

  We loved our time here, the resort is right on the beach and right by the restaurants. Gili Air is far quieter than Gili T so this is no problem at all as everything winds down by 11. The pool is divine and snorkelling is on your doorstep. The accommodation was unique and we enjoyed the 2 story villa.   This accommodation was ideal, restaurant on the beach, at high tide the waves lapped at our feet. A experience not possible at any other beach front resort I have been before. The resort was very close to the action and party area of the island, but far enough away to be very quite and relaxing. We didn't need to leave the resort if didn't want to... what people say » , we position down the back of the resort, very quite, had basically our own pool and bale. Our room was basic, with things we felt was important, sat - We stayed in a 2 bedroom villa which is large, nicely laid out and well fitted out. Great if you want a private base for your activities but it isn't a communal style resort, you'll barely see other guests when you're there. The included breakfast at the Restaurant was the best we had in Indonesia, very good. Note the letsbookhotel.com map location is wrong, the resort is actually 1 km south of the main wharf.

  This resort is at the top of the island which while is about a 20 min walk into the town which is very dark at night ( take a torch), it does have the best snorkelling spot from the beach outside the hotel. The water was beautiful and clear and many many fish. We saw & swam with sea turtles just down a bit at coral beach. Food at Villa Grasia was OK, we had lunch t - We initially booked 2 nights but liked it so much we booked 2 additional nights. The staff is really nice, breakfast delicious, 4-5pm there is tea time with a delicious snack, the pool was great, beach also. Free beach beds, bikes to drive to the center and free towels. We loved the fact that is was a 5-10 min bike ride to the 'center', where all restaurants are. Tip for a good Italian place is Blu d'mare and a little bit more expensive but also great is Ko-Ko-Mo.

Nice stay in Gili Trawangan and we found a nice Sasak House concept stayed in Dream Village. I thought I choose the right place to stay with nice room and bed, also - The room was very nice and good value, big comfortable bed and big luxurious bathroom.
