  We loved Laguna and Gili T as a whole. The staff were very welcoming and friendly which made our stay even more enjoyable. Rooms are very well presented and although some people may think they look tired, we ha no complaints. Breakfasts were spot on considering that Gili T is such a tiny islan - Loved the friendly staff. Always happy to chat to us and help us out. The breakfast each morning was delicious! You could have whatever you wanted from the menu. The rooms cleaned daily and extremely spacious. Opposite the beach. Nice and quiet and away from the noise of the bars etc, being a small island it only takes you 10 minutes to get to everything and 5 minutes later you are out of it all again anyway. Beautiful snorkelling area right out the front and only two doors down from Mango Dive

  The villas are brilliant! Very clean, large and comfy! The sea water shower is amazing and there is plenty of fresh water in a scoop afterwards! Far from the centre which might be good for some, bad for other! It's 10 minute bicycle ride and 25 minute walking. We loved it! The breakfast is amazing! Try the banana and plain pancakes!! Setting was idyllic and just the right distance to walk into the main town. Food was delicious and inexpensive, considering we were at a resort. Privacy was another good feature.

  A rather rustic place. Staff were friendly, always smiling. The villa is not at the town centre (which is good because the town can get noisy at night),it is slightly further in and takes about 20 minutes to get there by foot. The villa provides bicycles and you can opt for this instead of walking. Alrernatively you can also hire a cidomo(horse ... what people say » cart). We walked mostly as we could take our time and enjoy the view along the way. Just remember to take the flashlight with you because its quite da - Loved the villa, the privacy and the peace and quiet. Ten minutes walk or cycle from the bars and restaurants, yet everything was available to you if you just wanted to stay home, and the villa was more than inviting for you to do just that. We stayed here in the last week of our two week trip (Bali first) and we really wished we had had our two weeks at Les Villas Ottalia. We will definitely be back.

Make sure you cycle 3 minutes down the road and watch the sunset on "sunset beach", one of the highlights of our stay.

  After only two days in Bali we decided to take the boat over to Gili Trawagan. We were very happy when our horse (!!) stopped outside Gili Eco Villas.   It is a fantastic place for your stay at Gili T. The hotel is new, extremely clean, huge beautiful rooms, staff friendly and kind, good food. We enjoyed the location, just a few steps out from the mess, with a private beach and a private boat. There is also a nice pool to enjoy your relax.   As a 40+ solo traveller I enjoyed the comforts provided by Kaluku Bungalow including the king bed, air conditioning, and private outdoor shower and toilet which was beautifully designed with natural slate and stone. There are only a handful of bungalows available at Kaluku and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the banana pancakes ... what people say » for breakfast. The views from the shore in front were very calming and relaxing. The Kaluku bungalows are not budget or backpacker accommodation for G - The bungalow is clean and nice. It is on the beach as all hotels on Gili island are. The shower and toilet are under the sky;) Breakfast is simple but nice. It's better to go to other places to swim and lay on the beach as there is no actually beach in front of the hotel and the sea is not deep enough. The island is perfect, it's like paradise!

  The staff were warm and efficient. In particular Hanni, Wati and the masseuses made an impression on us with their advice and bubbly personalities. On - the staff were fantastic we had many laughf with them our toilet got blocked at 8pm they emidatly moved us to another room the breakfast was great along with all the food we diddnt bothe to eat anywere else the beach was out front of resturant there is on cars or scooters there transport is horse and cart or push bike you can ride a push bike around the island in 1hr and swim on deserted beaches the locals were also very frendly
