the best value for money we had so far in Indonesia (we did Java, Sulawesi, Irian Jaya and Bali) very clean smiling and helpful staff good wifi in the room and TV Sat with many channels on one of the main roads but without the noise many restaurants nearby

The staff were incredibly friendly. Hotel is newly refurbished so everything is clean and new. Many international TV stations. As we were in transit to Toraja for just 1 night we just needed a clean room to rest and this gave us that.

Breakfast was simple. Some local soup, fried chicken, fried rice and some toasts. Adequate but perhaps not to everyone's taste.

We had two nights in the pacific hotel. It was super,first of all the staff is super friendly and helpful (org bus tickets,taxis,information about the city)the rooms are new,clean,good warm shower,modern facilities,central location,pick up from the airport. We would defenitly come back again!thanks a lot!

Staff can help you arrange bus transport to tana toraja (the only reason to frequent makassar) Clean room

Loud noise at night audible in room 209 for sure (but I guess everywhere on the 2nd floor.) Every 80 - 90 seconds it sounds like a huge door slams. If you are a light sleeper, like me, this keeps you up all night even with earplugs. Makassar is to be avoided as there is nothing to do.
