Stayed in family room for 3 nights with 3 young children. We were in the older part of the hotel (433) second level. Was a little dated but clean and lots of room! The pool was nice but pool bar was always unattended! Had to go to main bar for service. Breakfast was ok! They do eggs to order, omelette and pancakes all were nice but that's about all that took our fancy. Staff were pleasant. The kids loved the towel animals the cleaning staff left on the beds daily! Easy to get taxis from out the front or hotel will call one for you. Breakfasts were good & we ate lunch and dinner from here which was all great. Family were amazing!! Always ready to help, Breakfast was always ready for us as soon as we got up, Hot water, tea and coffee were constantly being topped up, when we asked for milk for our tea it was brought every morning with breakfast. Location is really in the central, close to everywhere and just 10 minutes away from the beach and 3 minutes away to legian street ( where you can find lots of shops, bars, cafe / restaurants and discoteque as well. Onsite Massages, friendliness of the staff, particularly with our children. Proximity to restaurants, bars and shopping was fantastic. Great value for money and we will be staying there again. The staff in general were very friendly, and willing to help even if the language was a barrier, they also remember you as a guest, so was great not to be just a number. My 3 rd visit to this hotel in 6mths and the staff remembered my family, most amazing as to how many people stay there, looking forward to going back in september. Loved the Massages by the pool. The first room I was put in (behind the kitchen) was awful,old and noisy because of the kitchen fan . The second room was great . Staff were lovely. Its a great spot for families with children. pool was great. location, just near to sky garden, the best club in Bali, not to mention their poor security staff bad attitude, but even its close to clubs and bars, rooms were quiet. Legian Street can be a bit hectic at night so takes a while getting back to the hotel with the traffic. Some of the rooms are older and have not been renovated but still clean & comfortable. Ask for a new room when you book. The breakfast is so plain, for instance the bread only with jam without cheese or other topping provided, also the foods varieties are so dull as well as no variety of fruits.. Internet is not free. We were provided a very old cot instead of a portacot. The ally that lead you to Dewi Sri was one of the worst for pestering us, this is bad when you haven't got another way in or out. Wasn't much variety at breakfast and hardly anything left whenever we went at 9am. Food standard has dropped and prices are a bit expensive for food. The pillows were too soft - gave me a sore neck. Buffet breakfast was amazing but the restaurant food was a little average compared to other restaurants in Kuta. cant fault it. Staff handling food without gloves. the loud music on the saturday afternoon at the pool when several guests asked for it to be turned down the dj turned it down for a few minutes but then it went back to the loud volume it was his choice of music not the guests. N/A. Some people in the pool were not well behaved and this should have been dealt with by staff to ensure the safety of all people in the pool. A leaky air-conditioner is my biggest complaint.. Nothing. Breakfast. Lane way to hotel can be dodgy if returning late at night. room was noisy all night as it backed on to a busy road. many different rates and offers received amongst the same group of friends (I got the worst deal apparently, similar price to others but no free drinks/internet), some rooms are modern and renovated while others are older- there is nothing wrong with the older rooms other than the fact that there are much nicer rooms on the property being booked for the same rate... The breakfast could have had a boot more variety and the reception on the TV needs some work. no free wifi even in public area. have to pay for the wifi. Not enough shade around pool area. Pool too small ....children took over whole area...adults without children could not relax & swim. In a very busy location more suited to young adults rather than families. Very noisy woken many times in the night by other backpacker younger guests. no free wifi. My friends paid the same price as I did but they got deluxe rooms but my partner and I only had a standard room. Very poor reception. Staff at reception was almost rude when we walked in. Breakfast wasn't that great very basic. Original room was in a noisy position, but hotel moved us which was very nice of them. they also MUST put a shade sail or similar over toddlers pool as there is no shade on pool during day. That you didn't have free wifi . Most rooms of that price have free wifi. I moved hotels because of that. Tired old rooms, Stained bed linen and towels. needs a make over. Hotel is popular with Aussie Bogans!. There is no tea and coffee making facilities in the rooms. Also in room safes would be a better option. grey sheets and towels. bad breakfast, totally bad shower (not in all room i guess), no hair dryer, no tooth brush, scary ugly tv (with satellite channel), phone handheld smells like puke (maybe from previous guest), night staff were lying by saying no duty manager on duty at that night - for me a lie is an intollerable. The bathroom flooded and the linen was old and stained. The breakfast was cold with little choice and the staff were quite lazy when it came to service in the dining room. No free wi-fi. Corridor very dirty. Room furniture very old and dirty. The stained sheets and towels on our first night. The blocked sink and shower. The mosquitos in the rooms. The ancient TVs and poor reception. Having to pay for wifi per device. No tea/coffee making facilities.(we bought our own kettle). The useless hair dryer loaned from reception. The only lane way to the hotel has very intimidating street vendors. The cushions on the poolside chairs are filthy. And finally the daily breakfast lacks any variety. The bathroom was terrible!! And very dirty. We had to wear shoes on to take a shower.
