It is very clean and modern. Has pretty much all you need, within the limits of decency. The location can be a shock, especially if it is your first time in Jakarta/Indonesia. Better take a taxi from airport and avoid any walking in that area. As a European tourist, I'd skip the breakfast at Rumah Shinta anytime :)). But I would choose this little

Had a very small but VERY CHEAP and CLEAN room with AIR CONDITIONING, FLATSCREEN TV, CLEAN WESTERN TOILET and HOT SHOWER. What else do you need as single traveller?! Moreover the staff was VERY NICE and FRIENDLY. For the price of 135.000 Rupiah per night this is a real bargain. VERY RECOMMEND. Will come back for sure. RUMAH SHINTA RAWKS!!! :-)

The staff were excellent, truly made our stay comfortable. The place is clean but has signs of deterioration. It definitely is value for money in Jakarta. However, next time due to the horrendous traffic in Jakarta I would recommend a more central location. -

We needed to spend one night in Jakarta for a connecting flight the next morning. This hotel was very well suited, strategically and financially, and catered for all our needs. It is spacious and clean and had all the necessary facilities. Would definately stay there again. Breakfast was good. -
