I 'm willing to stay at this hotel next time. The location was good. Also, I found the staff was nice and well trained professionals. One note-worthy feature is the good quality of room-service foods. Tasty and reasonable price. Location being closed to Monas where we need to reach early in the morning for Jakarta Marathon 2013. Bed was comfortable , room although outdated, was clean. Friendly staff, very indonesian, and I love it. Breakfast suits me as there are genuine indo food. Price was alright as compared to Intercontinental and Sahid Jaya, my company's corporate hotels. staff is still good as ever though the old ones were better and friendlier. keyaki is good. The staff at this hotel are excellent. So helpful. The location. 1) All my notes were considered as "fake money" checked by the money machine at the check-in desk. Of course, I don't use fake money. The machines need to be renewed. 2) Some used dishes (with kitchen wastes) were left outside a room overnight. Not good. parking lots too small for such a big hotel. Room was not ready immediately. No bar. - It is an old run-down establishment that is in need of a total refurb. Bathrooms were the worst offenders - The gym is impossibly hot, and needs better protection from the sun. Also lacks some pieces of equipment. More latest facilities should be applied to rooms and lobby. For example cafe-teria and coffee shop should be arranged at the quiet courner or quiet floor. As a whole, the building is a little aged, the electricity switch, quality of mattress can be better considering the room-price. No parking , no helping gesture from the securities, had our car parked by valet after rejected twice by them earlier and literally screamed at the securities who just busy asking us to go around the premises again to find a park and didnt give us any solutions. Aircond in the room needs service, bathroom old and a bit grotty. The hotel is getting old, and urgently need a refurbishment. the maintainence and upkeep is bad - paint is peeling , carpets are worn out ( dangerously on some floors - guests may trip !). Facilities require upgrade. The hotel has been ravaged by time and while the lobby looks really cool, the rooms have definitely had better times. The taps were creaky and hard to open/close. The hotel was looking worn and tired, in need of refurbishment, the breakfast buffet was not worth the price. Too old to be a five star hotel the bed is I think over 15 yr old The toliet don't even have a sprerate shower . U have to shower in side the bath tube like a budget hotel style The price is 5 star but the condition is budget hotel . It needed a refurb 10 years ago. The place is crummy, peeling wallpaper. Worn carpets. Cracked bath and sink. Very old fashioned bathroom with black mould around bath. Wifi never worked anywhere in hotel. It's actually a disgrace to the Pan Pacific brand. But the staff save it!. The hotel is badly managed, things are old, and the facilities have not been upgraded since I last stayed, (8 years ago) and many new local managed hotel are better in facilities. letsbookhotel.com images of the hotel are not true. The facilities in the room is old and due for some upgrading. Breakfast variety is limited. Definitely not value for money hotel.
