If you are looking quiet, lovely place on Bali-choose The Bali Dream Villa Hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpfull. They invited my with beautyfull flowers as a family.It was my third visit in this hotel and I hope not the last one. They help to arrange rent a motorbike for 5 USD per day, car with a driver. We got room with balcony, very well equipped- large double bed -comfortable, mini bar, air condition, flat TV, safe box, every day cleaning, smelling jasmine flower. Delicious breakfast.
all reviews » A nice, quiet, back to nature place of luxury. Very polite and friendly service. We arrived at night and had a slight problem with our bookings. Apparently the resort did not receive our bookings? Not sure where the miscommunication happened? But straight away they gave us a lovely villa for the first night. The resort is not right on the beach but there is a free car shuttle tothe lovely Echo Beach. The more adventurous could rent a bike or bicycle. Tanah Lot is not too far from the resort. W. Well designed villas, finished off with style to a high quality. Great outdoor pool area, bedroom and large bathroom. The softest towels on our whole trip. Best massage in their spa. Food in restaurant very good. Easy free push bike ride to echo beach. Also free shuttle car to beach and next accommodation. Staff organised a birthday cake for me without any request so they really looked after us. Me had afternoon tea each day with proper tea, milk and homemade cake and cookies. We knew where w. We stayed for 1 week during Honeymoon and loved it! The staff were welcoming and friendly. They couldn't do enough for you! The villa was clean, relaxing, comfortable and totally private. The private pool is worth the extra money. The restaurant is lovely and overlooks the communal pool which is very picturesque. It takes around 15 minutes to walk to Echo beach and its restaurants. It's a nice walk past the rice fields. But we rented bicycles and a scooter from the hotel when we didn't want to . the manager and his staff went out of their way to make us feel at home each and every day. when my husband suffered an acute attack of illness and was hospitalised they looked us so well and supported me with lifts to visit him.the owners should be so pleased to have all staff at each level so competent and professional. a new resort with alot of good people. a beautiful quiet peaceful haven is this place at canggu. Could go for long walks through the area without getting hassled by hawkers...We did encounter a few unfriendly looking dogs though... I loved it there. The staff were all so very friendly and helpful. The ladies in the salon like Febri and Ayi were great, but really all the staff were wonderful. Mainly I had to come back home. Australian leaving dirty plates after lunch or dinner on the corridor. Canggu is a little far from the Kuta/ Legian/Seminyak area. One would need to get a taxi to travel out. The food and spa treatments are excellent but a little overpriced....there are cheaper local alternatives. Some might find it a little isolated if they don't wish to go too far from the resort. This was not a problem for us!!. nothing. Resturant food was average. We got lost getting there as Bali Dream Villas have several properties in Bali and we intitially ended up getting taken to the wrong one by our driver. Make sure you emphasize 'and Resort' to your driver. The only thing that was a bit hard was that I am very allergic to some foods and it was a bit hard communicating with some of the staff trying to find out if certain ingredients were in the food or not. But they all tried very hard and were very accommodating. Water in the shower changed temperature. Roads to beach had quite a few stray dogs. Absolutely nothing!. In superior room nowhere to hang wet towels or clothing as there was no balcony or towel rack. nothing. The bedroom airconditioner lights shine directly into your eyes when laying in bed. The is no suitcase stand or clothes drying rack. we felt a bit akward coming to such a luxurious place with our huge backpacks but actually everthing was fine!. Nothing at all!. Hard to find location not walking distance to many things no shops or restaurants nearby bit far from Seminyak. Vеееееry slooooowly WiFi and very poor breakfast. Small wardrobe. Dirty towels and dirty broken crockery in restaurant. No black tea in the villa, only green. No coffee machine in the villa and on breakfast in restaurant, only instant coffee Nescafe. No shop in the hotel and closest area. Beach is far far away. Mini bar is not included(. long distance from party places. So far from the city. Pretty far from any shops and the hustle and bustle of Bali (also a positive). I could hear the neighbour open and closing a door and other noises of the villa unit of the neighbouring complex. Just a bit off-putting. restaurant.
