  Excellent hotel for the price. The location is awesome. You can buy the Tickets to the taj at the reception and they can arrange for the shuttle to stop at the hotel for going to the Taj Mahal. Special mention to the Front office manager Anand who helped us for smallest of issues. Even the gm was excellent.The gm personally checked our feedback on... what people say » the hotel. We had 3 rooms to us and as my mother was old, we had asked for a late checkout for one of the rooms and they politely accepted our reques - Reception was good. Mr. Anand was very helpful. The room was nice and clean. The location was perfect for visit to Taj Mahal. Food was good but could improve. The roof top was a nice place to hangout. The swimming pool looked very nice but I couldn't use it since water was too cold. Will definitely go back whenever possible. All in all was a good experience. I would recommend this hotel to all.

  First time in 4 months I have had a proper hot shower in India. The wifi worked well in my room, I did not have to go looking for a hot spot. The location is great, right near the main ghat, and I was actually taken and shown where I could eat, where to get autos, how to find my way back to hotel. I was able to leave my luggage and use room facilities for no extra cost in the afternoon, as I had a night train. I fe - I had a wonderful staying in Ganges Inn, and I found the place very clean, with a very friendly and helpful staff, on a wonderful location if your plans are to stay very close to the main Gaths on the Ganges river. I've visited as a solo female traveller and also I felt extremely safe. I definitely would recommend it for anyone who wants to experience Varanasi.

  I was traveling with 7 other girls throughout India, and I have never felt so safe in a hotel anywhere in the world that I have stayed. The hotel was under construction and still looked amazing. I recommend th - A great hotel, situated right by the east gate of the Taj Mahal. The staff were friendly and accomodating (they didn't mind us checking in early, and looked after our luggage during the day after we had checked out), and the views of the Taj Mahal from the rooftop terrace were excellent. Really good value for money,and in a safe, pleasant neighbourhood.
