Our stay in Hotel Tokyo Palace in Jaisalmer was amazing! The hotel staff (especially the front desk maanager, Gyanchand, who was super helpful and friendly the whole day) was the best! We felt so comfortable the whole time. Great to have the swimming pool, and a rooftop overlooking the whole city and right in front of the fort. Clean rooms, attractive hand-painted artwork, useable wi-fi, absolutely excellent value for money. If you want 5-star stuff this won't be for you BUT for independent travellers wanting to be close to local community ventures this is unbeatable. I stayed at Dylan Café And Guest house for 3 nights and really enjoyed my stay.
All the staff here are very friendly and helpful and have me great advice about my onward travels.
Location is perfect as is 5 mins walk to the market but in a nice quiet area on the town.
The food is great and it is so chilled out in the restaurant on the rooftop

A beautiful guesthouse with a great rooftop sitting. Rooms are very clean and comfortable, with/without AC. Staff are very friendly and helpful - take you from and to the bus stop.
Camel saffari was excellent - camels were clean and well taken care of. Amazing non touristic dunes, good fruit and food for dinner. Everything cooked with mineral water.
