Pleasant reception staff, thank you to Asu (Assumption) and James who welcomed us to Novotel Juhu beach. We were very luck to get an excellent deal from letsbookhotel.com for a premiere room which included a pool sea view and free cocktail hour with appetizers. Breakfast was great with a typical large range of breakfast foods. We had lunch there too and it was nice spread of buffet food. The gym has a great view, however some of the electronic machines need to be carefully looked after. The spa.

Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, the food was excellent, the pool was wonderful, and just the right, consistent depth for me to swim in and put my feet on the bottom. The setting was amazing, right next to the beach, with a spectacular view of the ocean from our room. just a short walk from the bustle of the city ! All very stylish. We took a taxi tour of Mumbai, arranged by the Hotel, and the . Excellent breakfast buffet, great modern room, pool area is great, modern facilities, gym ,spa, restaurants are top class. While touring to Mumbai and Goa for three weeks I tried both Sun n Sand hotel and Novotel both located at Juhu: Novotel clearly came out on as the winner of the two and better in most categories even though Sun n Sand is a fine hotel too. When I stayed here I got the feeling that each and every staff of this hotel wanted to make sure that my stay is made as comfortable as possible..special mention should be made of Assumption who was always there in the lobby with a smile . I will always stay at the Novotel and would highly recommend it to all. Lovely location with excellent outdoor dining facilities. Late check out and early check in can be a little more flexible, as charges were applied in both cases. Towels can be cleaner, as a couple of them had smudge marks. Food is great. Sea view is excellent. every thing was so good i remember last day at the hotel my flight trip was at 9:00 pm and the room should close at 12:00 pm but they let me stayed in my room till 4:00 pm for free thank u so much. Nothing !. The constant recharging and changing of the room key that had to be done due to the rejection of the elevator. It became a nuisance! Never had this problem while staying at the Trident Nariman Point prior to checking in at the Novotel.!!!. A minor point, but the quality of the hotel transport could be better. There always seemed to be mosquitos in the vehicles, and there were no vehicles available for the return trip to the airport. Food and alcohol prizes are really high. Nothing!!. The television , DTH & remote provided in the room is of very bad quality . They should change it . Liked everything. No issues. The restaraunt staff at breakfast was quite slow and the breakfast not that great. I got extremely sick, and although I'm not sure what caused it, I believe it to be the ice or water from brushing my teeth. I was told the hotel water went through major filtration so it would be safe to use the water for brushing teeth and as ice. But I am thinking that is not the case. room service was not up to scratch. The plumbing in the bathroom needed seeing to. The hotel was not flexible at all to shift dates because i had booked it online, and they did not even have the flexibility for cancellation even though the second time i cancelled 3-4 weeks in advance. which i thought was not customer friendly at all. There are also no tennis or squash courts. For a hotel charging rates which are close to a five star I feel these facilities should be there, and just by having a gym is not sufficient. Rooms looking a little shabby since our last visit. the taps have lost their chrome and sealant around the sink and showers is black and mouldy. water in swimming pool a little too cold! would prefer more hotel information in the room. Even though I had paid for 2 nights in advance, I could only stay for one night. I wasn't asking for a refund. Just informing them of my late arrival. They told me I had to cancel my original booking and book one of the days again which meant I pay for 3 nights for staying just 1. I didn't off course. Also the resturant staff were not as friendly. Needs updating and some TLC. Couldn't get to the beach from the hotel as the paths were all blocked and locked. Staff in Bar Price of food and drinks. Large pool of stagnant water besides hotel. Shower did not work properly. staff need training. They cant get things right the first time. They dont seem to understand what the client is saying. bed sheet not clean. The service was bad they come after a while. All staff attitude I didn't like.
