This is a really great small hotel. Located right next to the Jain temples and very quiet at night. We booked the temple room which had original exterior wall of a temple in the room. The owner offers free pick up from station and puts himself out to help you. The food in the rooftop restaurant is good. We took the hotels desert trip. It was more expensive than others but they delivered exactly what they promised and we were in fact the only ones eating our dinner under a starlit sky after suns.

The boss is a very nice man! The exquisite sculpture wall,comfortable bed,the historic space......Everything is perfect! Super value!. The location was great, the roftop restaruant also. It is a genuine old haveli in the fort. The rooms looked interesting some had carved sandstone walls and balconies and were large with good bathrooms. The rooftop restaurant had a great view of the Jain temples right next door. The staff were friendly but very slow. The room wall was shared with an old Jain temple!! Unbeatable Well located to explore the inside fort area. Nice terrace restaurant where you can have a meal and fell the breeze... The Deep Mahal is situated very central within the fort in Jaisalmer. No hot water. Bathroom dirty. No hot water and dirty room. There were no pillow cases or top sheets. When top sheets arrived were brown printed, rough and smelt musty, they had (I think) chewing gum on them and the blanket was dirty. I waited 2 hours for breakfast while 3 men walked around with mobile phones to their ears. The fort is very touristy and you are constantly hassled. I moved to the town. staff behavior after set a desert safari tour with them. Agreements made for it were completely overlooked. Very poor experience with their desert camel safari....not trust able on this. Prices are quite steep and the people in the hotel are a bit pushy to sell you excursions. The Jain temple had to pay its tribute to the hotel - its built too close to it which is a shame Jaisalmer.
