  This was one of our favorite stays in Iceland! The staff was so wonderful!!! They were always available when needed. Also, the daughter talked to us about Iceland and their culture and the surrounding area for a while, which was really neat! It was great talking to her! She also provided some great suggestions and recommendations about local ... what people say » events, things to try, and remaining ideas for the rest of our trip! It felt very homey! The rooms were very comfortable and spacious! Everything w - Very clean, comfortable and modern facilities. Friendly and helpful staff who knew about the area and helped us to book a hike/glacier trip. Good food as a set menu can be found in the farmhouse next door. Excellent breakfast, including homemade waffles.I would definitely stay here again.

  Beautiful location with great views. We stayed in a cabin and found it clean and comfortable. The dinner was excellent with soup, salad, bread, fish, lamb meatballs and mixed vegetables. I'm not a big dessert fan, but the waffles with ice cream and chocolate sauce was out of this world! Breakfast was also very good. There is a very enjoyable hike to a glacier which begins right at the farm and is very well - Ideal location for ice lagoon and Hofn. The owners provide a homely atmosphere and cooked an excellent 3 course meal in the evening (one evening was a buffet with a choice of salmon, cod and smoked ham and the chocolate cake was delicious!), wine and beer available. Best value meals on whole Iceland trip. Breakfast was good. We stayed for 2 nights in a wooden cabin that was warm and clean. Also managed to photograph the Northern Lights from outside the door of our cabin.
