  Sleeping in containers : done ! It was a really nice experience that I recommend. The container was very clean and warm. Every one of them has got a fabulous view on the sea. There is a separate kitchen in a container too. It is a nice concept. The guesthouse is situated a few kilometres away from the basalt columns on the beach. - What a fun gu... what people say » esthouse! Our room was in a converted shipping container wi our own toilet and basin. Shower facilities and kitchen are in a separate container. Location on the historic Reynir farm is beautiful and close by to Vik for groceries. The black beach down the road offers good viewing of birds and we also saw seals.
