  The rooms were bright and clean and the hotel upgraded us to a Junior Suite because it was our wedding. They had some chocolate strawberries waiting for us in the room. What a nice touch :) The staff was very helpful with any questions and they held our baggages at reception before we were able to check in. They were able to check us in early. Tha - The Radisson Blu 1919 is centrally located in downtown Reykjavik -- couldn't ask for a better location. Just a block away from the pedestrian area, and from the bus stop. The staff were always helpful and friendly in every way possible. Always. The rooms were very clean, with ample space. The breakfast buffet was really outstanding -- plenty of wonderful variety from which to choose. We felt very welcomed at all times here. That means a lot to us as travelers.   Hotel has been re-done recently and has an impressive lobby (with free internet pc's available). The rooms are decorated very well and there is a good information book in your room. The duvets are divine!! Staff are very friendly and efficient in booking the flybus back to airport - Very positive staff. It's a new hotel with a great reception area... what people say » with free Internet access. The view from 12th floor was stunning. The restaurant delivered the best fish dish I've had for long. I really recommend this hotel.

Our young waiter (from the Netherlands) was so p - I've been once before and choosing a Hotel for my wife's 60th birthday remembered Hotel Holt for its atmosphere, its wonderful collection of paintings and its excellent food. Of course it is also within walking distance of everywhere you want to go. The hotel fully lived up to my recollections and went down very well with my artistic wife.

  Excellent location, great harbour view, very clean room and the bed was huge! Didn't try the restaurant but the bar service was good and the bar area was very nice and relaxing. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. - Atmosphere, people - nothing too much trouble, central location - overall great
