This apartment is perfectly placed at the end of the main shopping street in Reykjavik, however we were not troubled by noise at all. It is very clean and modern and with everything you could need for a city break (fully stocked kitchen, washing machine with drier & comfy living area) The apartment is beautifully decorated. There is on road parking right outside the apartment, which we had no trouble in finding a space. A great Icelandic find!.
all reviews » Everything! The apartment was very spacious for a group of three friends and it was tastefully decorated. We had more than the facilities that we needed as our homebase in Iceland. We were happy to find a washing machine in our apartment. The location is very good because it's at the street towards the main commercial area of Laugavegur. Parking was also available but on a first come first served basis. It made our trip to Iceland comfortable. The apartment was really stylish, well equipped and had essential supplies, beds were comfortable and there was adequate cupboard space in the rooms. All told a good place for our last night in Iceland - and we would certainly use it again. Easy walking distance from the centre and an ideal place for a longer city break. The owner was friendly and helpful. Excellent location close to everything. The apartment was well equipt and very modern and comfortable. Beds were comfy, big power shower, big table and chairs. Jonas the owner was brilliant, very very helpful, friendly and always their should you need anything! Would go back in a heart beat. Five star comfort a few steps from the center of Reykjavik. Helpfulness and courtesy of staff. Elegance of furniture (all was brand new). Everything needed was available (including a washing-drying machine). Exceptionally high value for money. The apartment was beautiful, clean, comfortable and had all the extras to make the stay really comfortable and practical. It was also a brilliant location at the end of the Main Street but far enough at the end not to be disturbed by noise. Very cozy apartment, of all places we stayed during our trip had most homely feeling to it. Having coffee was a nice surprise and we had some freshly baked bread from supermarket downstairs (first batch is out of oven at 9:10). The apartment was small but very very nice with a washing machine/dryer, DVD player, microwave and and and. Even soap, shampoo, oil for cocking etc. was available. We parked for free on the street in front of the house. Received lots of help from the owners. Always responded to all my emails almost immediately and pointed out the cheapest supermarket as well. Will definitely stay again if I happen to be in Iceland again. Jonas and Stella were both very nice and came quickly to provide me with the keys at check-in. The 2-bed room unit was lovely. It was also easy to walk from the unit to the business area along Laugavegur. Location is central and restaurants and bars are in walking distance. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. The apartment has everything we needed and it feels home when staying there. Convenient location within easy walk to main shopping street. Helpful owner on floor below. Well appointed for this price range including washing machine/dryer in apartment. location is great, easy to all kinds of places. room was clean and equipped with laundry. hostress was very nice to pick us blocks away. The hot water in Reykjavik smells of sulpher, it is not pleasant but this is everywhere not just here. Nothing at all. I can't fault it !. One bedroom for two people pretty small. It was very loud at night below us at the Pizza restaurant. Nothing - very pleased all round. Absolutely nothing to dislike about these apartments. Nothing, it was perfect to visit Reykjavik. Shower leaked a lot onto the floor. Nothing.
