Excellent in every aspect. The owner is an extremely kind woman, almost like a real mother. The place is impressively clean, especially the bed sheets and pillows which both had such a nice and strong perfume. The place itself is so quiet and pleasant, and even though is just a little meaningless town like Keflavik, the place itself has something special in the air. all reviews » The room was very clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was one of the best we've seen in Iceland (large enough to shower and no draining problems). Arna and Flosi were very helpful with tips and information about Iceland. It would have been best for us to stop here before touring around Iceland, as their advice would have been useful. Also, we would have been more able to enjoy the landscapes there. The internet was functional and fast. They had a great breakfast ready for us at the . I loved that there was a queen sized bed, black out curtains and beautiful shutters in my room. It was extremely convenient for my early flight to Sweden out of the Keflavik airport. I stayed at a B&B in Mosfellsdalur in the countryside for the majority of my stay in Iceland, but it was very nice to have such a luxurious room and stay my last night in Iceland. The owners were very kind and also allowed me to get a ride to the airport for a fee which was very nice. The bred&breakfast is located in Keflavik near to the airport which is a better distance to the airport if you have an early flight as you would stay in Reykjavik (40km from Keflavik Airport). The room was very comfortable and clean and the owners of the house were very friendly and discrete. Their service was exceptional and they also woke up at 4am to prepare breakfast for us before the flight. We were very satisfied and can only recommend to stay with them!. The room was extremely attractive and comfortable. They had a pitcher of water in the room and gave us nice fluffy robes for our walk to the bathroom. The whole home was very stylishly decorated and warm and cozy against the cold Icelandic wind. Breakfast was delicious too! Most of all, the hosts were extremely kind and helpful - they even arranged a ride for us to the Blue Lagoon when it turned out we had missed the bus!. The owners were very nice; checked us in, and then kept their distance. We were on our honeymoon, and they gave us the studio...so really felt that we had our own special place. The studio was amazing -- exactly what I would want if I had a small cabin. The breakfast was excellent! Perfect location since we wanted to be close to the Blue Lagoon and didn't want to drive into Reykjavík for the first night only. The owners were very kind. They stay up late for our arrival from the airport to let us in. Not only that, it was our honeymoon and I'm pretty sure they kindly gave us the best room available. Everything was super clean (even the shared bathroom) and magnificently appointed. The breakfast was excellent. Super close to the airport if you are hiring a car and you need somewhere to stay nearby. We rented the studio apartment. It was attractively furnished and very clean. Lots of little extras like CDs and DVDs, fluffy bathrobes, plenty of dishes in the kitchenette, and patio furniture outside. Loved how they'd stock our refrigerator with breakfast food so we could eat whenever we wanted in the morning. Separate building so very quiet and peaceful. There isnt much to do in Keflavik but this is a great place to stay the night before your departure, especially if you have an early flight. The house was very warm, quiet and comfortable and the owners were very helpful. Breakfast was an amazing spread of food and the tea and coffee and cake that were available all day was a very nice touch. Very comfortable bed, thoughtful attention to small comforts, delicious and fresh very early pre-flight breakfast not a problem. Owner drove me to the airport for a small fee, cheaper then a taxi. We went back to stay here again in less than a week! This time stayed at the studio flat. It was very comfortable and breakfast was ready within the studio. Also the owners were very friendly and did drop and pick up from the airport too! This is their home and they keep it well and it shows... We would definitely go back there!. Also, it is 8 minutes drive from the airport and easy to find. we took the studio for the private bathroom, but I don't think anyone else was staying when we were there, so a room in the house may have done us. the studio was very nice and well equipped though. Location -- good only if you first or last night in Iceland since very close to the airport. Make sure you check in with owners re your arrival time prior to arriving. I hadn't and didn't have a local sim card to call them when I arrived at the house. Luckily I had a colleague staying nearby to make the phone call for me. Owner arrived promptly and was most helpful. Nothing!. There's not a whole lot in Keflavik (although we did find 'Panda Pizza' is actually a pleasant Chinese takeaway with restaurant area) but it serves it's purpose and meant we didn't need to get up too early to travel from Reykjavik. Nice big TV but not facing the bed. Absolutely nothing. couldn't find a hairdryer. Keflavik is convenient for the airport or if exploring the Reykjanes peninsula. Would love for this place to be located in Reykjavik!. Having to take a taxi too and from the airport. Not much to do around Keflavik, so most people would probably only stay here for one or two nights, which is a shame because it's such a great B&B. Nothing. Communal bathroom was a bit small. I didn't like that my schedule did not allow me to stay for breakfast. I am sure it would have been great. nothing. nothing. Nothing. Nothing.
