It is an interesting location, right across a mill stream from the old castle on the lake. The Eszterhazy Palace is around the corner, but it is not open and in need of much renovation. The hotel is right next to the lake, which has an excellent walking path. Boating is available, but we did not have time. The breakfast room was in a beautiful

Great location.We loved Tata.
We were on the first floor and both of our rooms were large. We enjoyed several wonderful meals at the restaurant.

Fantastic location, easy to find, arranged free on-site parking. Room great value for money. Good size room, spotless and good common areas for use during summer. Owner spoke no English which didn't bother us but may some travellers. -

We really liked the apartment. It is well located - only some minutes from the beach, ferry terminal, promenade, train station, shops etc. Rooms were clean and quiet. Really good value for money. It looks very plain from the outside but the inside is clean and well-maintained. Rooms are small but fair. The area is very quiet and the terrace is spacious, great for relaxing and with a fantastic view of Lake Balaton. The owner, Gabor, is friendly and helpful and this was a good place to stay for stopping over as we toured the Balaton Lake region.
