  Wow! What a gem of a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised at how fabulous this hotel is... everything from the location, decor to the staff service. It certainly added to our experience of Budapest. Make sure you ask them to book all your tours, etc. They have great suggestions and ideas - and the prices were more than reasonable. A stunning design hotel with a special feel. The bed was the most comfortable we've slept in and the quality of the bathroom, and large bath, was a real treat. Using the special rates on letsbookhotel.com means that this is excellent value - we even got a room upgrade despite paying the basic rate!!

  Very friendly and helpful staff, nothing was too much trouble for them, i'd pre booked the airport shuttle before going but booked the return leg at the hotel, this got overlooked for whatever reason and when i checked the following morning they realised their mistake and rectified it even though it was the same day as departure. The room was lovely, very moder - Everything was great! The staff couldn't have been more helpful. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with many choices. We ate a bit later in the morning and everything was plentiful. We had an early flight the day we left, and the staff made coffee for us in the lobby and fixed sandwiches to take with us.   Me and my partner stayed for a long weekend over August bank holiday. We couldn't believe the size of the room for the value that we paid. It had a bathroom with a toilet and shower/bath, an area outside this room with double mirrored wardrobes, with an iron and safe inside. A sink and dressing area, a kitchen (everything in it minus a washing mac... what people say » hine - these where in the corridor, although I'm not sure they are open to the public but they looked like they are) a sofa and table and chairs livin - THis hotel is part of the Marriot Chain. All rooms are ' suites ', very spacious, very luxirious with great attention to all details. The location, although not with a Danube river view, was 2 mnitues from the river and close to everything that would be of interest to tourist. We enjoyed this hotel very much and would stay there again , whenever. The fact that our room was only C$ 104.00 per night which included a daily breakfast did help.   The apartment is in an excellent location, very close to the main shopping street and the Danube river, in a very quiet building block, with surveillance cameras on each level and on the elevator, so it's very safe. The apartment is clean, and you have anything you need. The host is very nice and helpful. And if you're coming by car i recommend us... what people say » ing a garage, is hard to find a place on a street and you have a 3h max limit. There are 3 options available on katona apartments website. - It was my second time at Katona Apartments and it couldn't have been better!!! Janos (the owner) is a wonderful person, really nice and willing to help. My dad got sick and he found us a doctor really close to the apartment, so he was really helpful. The apartment is really nice, comfortable, clean and very well-located. You can feel like at home there. I'd strongly recommend it and I'll go back there for sure next time I go to Budapest, which is an awesome city
