Restaurant recommendations were good too.We had a river view which although more expensive well worth it.   The hotel is fabulous. So comfortable, clean and has a really luxurious feel. The staff are so friendly, especially in the bar and restaurant. In fact I would say that the friendliness of the staff was one of the main highlights of our stay at the Meridien. The location is also fantastic, so central and within easy walking distance of all the main ... what people say » tourist attractions. Try their cakes in the bar!! - The restaurant, the staff, the location.. ultimately everything about the hotel surpassed my expectations, especially considering value for money. The hotel is absolutely perfect and the staff are eager to help wherever they can, also they are quite happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have about Budapest. I would definately revisit this hotel in the future.
