  I can't recall staying in a better city centre hotel than this and all at a very reasonable price. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble for them. We will certainly try and book the Zichy when we visit Budapest again and would recommend it wholeheartedly to - We loved everything about the hotel.We upgraded our room and stayed in a wonderful junior suite on the fifth floor.It was quiet,clean,big and the bathroom had a walk in shower and a jacuzzi.Plenty of closet space and a great bed.The staff was polite and very helpful.They spoke excellent English.They booked restaurants,massages and ordered taxis.I would defenitely recommend this hotel to all my friends.We also liked its situation,district 8.we walked everywhere.Good job!!!

  Exclusive, very nice, cosy and welcoming place. Everything was excellent (staff, location). I can-t say anything about the breakfast because we didn't have one. We preferred local coffee-shops (and we recommend Ana Caffe - 2 minutes away). The parking is quite expensive but (like we have been lucky) you can find quite a few parking places around a... what people say » nd in front of the hotel. The parking is free during week-ends (from Friday 18.00 pm to Monday 08.00 am) so we paid just a few hours for Monday mornin - Location is perfect. Within walking distance of Buda (10 minutes) across a bridge, of the central Deak Ferenc Ter station (5 minutes) of the Ferenciek ter station which provides Bus/Metro access to Buda (3 minutes). Hotel is very clean and very well suited for travellers looking for comfort and some luxury on a budget. We didn't have breakfast/lunch/dinner at the hotel, so we cannot really judge on the quality of the food.

Someone said they wanted 15€ for breakfast in the past, but the price has been lovered to 10€ now which is kind of ok. Prices there are a bit - The location of the hotel is just perfect - it is one block away from Hero Square and the metro station that takes you directly to the city centre. The room was spacious and with a really nice design, the bed was comfortable and big. Everything was very clean and had a nice smell. The bathroom was very nice as well, with a big shower. We parked the car on the pavement in the street near the hotel, which was for free (at least during weekend), so we didn't have any expenses with the parking.

  My husband and I were traveling through Europe for 25 days. This hotel was by far the best hotel we stayed in. The staff was very polite, helpful and professional. The room was large, clean and modern. The bed was comfortable and our room was quiet. The breakfast was about 7.50 euros extra but so very worth the money. The location - When I arrived at the airport, I got the disturbing news that my bagage had stayed behind in Berlin. To make a long story short: At the hotel I explained my dilemma to the staff at reception and couldn't believe the immediate response I received from. Also alot of really amazing restaurants just around the corner at the square List Ferenc (not sure of the name) Reza was an incredibly nice host and gave us tips on where to go and what to see. Gym and pool area was real - Honesty of the owner and the level of commitment that he has to provide the best service for us was amazing!!! The system overbooked and even though this was not the fault of Luxury Downtown Apartments, the owners integrity was transparent in calling us in person to provide a solution was the most anyone has ever done to provide a service over and beyond the level I expected..
