Starr in Hotel is an excellent choice. We stayed for 5 days there and we had problem with nothing. It was perfectly clean, and comfortable. We had our room cleaned and towels/sheets changed every day. It 's location is also perfect, as it is close to everywhere in the city center and you can go around on feet. Is also seemed a safe area as we dealed with no problem neither the day nor late at night. There are also 4 metro stations very close (5 minutes walk). The staff was helpful with everythi.
all reviews » Firstly, this was our second stay, which says a lot for this hotel. The Star Inn Hotel is very comfortable, clean, well-run, and international. The staff are highly efficient and multilingual; any requirements or requests are met with immediately and with a smile. The location is central and the area around the hotel is tranquil. We would return willingly to this hotel. The air conditioning worked great during the record-breaking heat wave in June. The buffet style breakfast had many delicious Hungarian baked goods, scrambled eggs, and a typical continental breakfast with coldcuts and cheeses, and there was also cereals and milk, and cut up melon, and various fruit juices. It was nice that breakfast was served until 11:00 am. We we were on 5 days city trip to the one of the most beautiful cities in Europe, and this hotel made it even better. Staff is friendly and location is great. Parking is available in garage under the hotel building which is quite convenient. Most of the main city attractions are in walking distance from hotel. Small room, thin walls, you could hear from one room to another. No kettle/hot drink facilities in the room. lack of good view from hotel. Small bathroom. Breakfast could be better. None. Prices of breakfast and parking. Nothing. some noise while cleaning the rooms, 15 minutes walking to city center. Very strict people on reception. In Hungary, obviously, at all don't love Russians. No ironing board is available in the whole hotel. The stuff was rude, and arrogant!!!! Would not stay at this hotel again!!!. There is only one medium size towel in the room.you have to use it both for shower and for your face. There is no safe in the room. On the first of our two stays at this hotel we have been assigned a twin room instead of the booked double without being asked about our preference (probably the front desk attendant thought two guys will not prefer one bed - but come on - we are in 21st century). In general the front desk staff seemed a bit indifferent. There is no currency exchange available at front desk.
