I have been travelling around the world quite a lot, but the service and hospitality at Lavender was amazing, top class! I arrived to Budapest on a Sunday morning at 7 o'clock with the train and the apartment was occupied so I couldn't do an early check in. But that was no problem for the owner, he invited me to his private apartment where I left my stuff until my apartment would be available, and had a great morning espresso with him and his wife, amazing! If you are looking for a nice place .
all reviews » Location is great, there is grocery shops, bars and cafes near. Also tram stop and metro stops are close by. Owner Mariann is really really nice, she helped us anything we asked. Washing machine was great, since we had been travelling across four countries before coming to Budapest. I recommend this to anyone who values nice place in private within good location. We stayed there with my boyfriend from 24th to 27th of June 2013. The hosts were very friendly and helpful, Thank you Mariann and Phil . Very lovely apartment and great location. Had most amazing holiday will come back to Budapest and definitely stay in this apartment. The apartment is located in a very convenient area. It is very clean and the owner is very helpful and polite. It has everything you need for cooking, coffee etc I would definitely recommend this apartment to anybody!. Everything was great. Apartment was clean and warm, owner was nice and let us stay a little bit longer. Even kept a suitcases for us while we were in town. If we come back to Budapest, definitely will be here. Very lovely apartment to equipped all kind kitchen tools. Good location(near to famous Cafe and Metro). We enjoyed 3 days stay. If would stay in Budapest, we will definitely catch this apartment. This is not expensive apartment located pretty close to the main streets and Mariann is a very nice person. Very friendly host. In the apartment, everything you might need, even a wash mashine! Comfortable flat house. clear , peacful, cheap. owner is really kind guy and he recommended good restaurant to us. It's good:)) and APT had good kitchen and items to cook. I really can't find anything to come up with. I saw in the previous reviews that people was commenting about the street and neighbourhood, and yes maybe it looks a little worn out, but this is how it looks everywhere in Budapest center. I met and talked to some other people and neighbors during my stay and all of them were really nice and polite. Nothing, everything was great. Kitchen facilities very basic. location is not easy to find..haha.
