This apartment was delightful. We had just come from a shabby place in Vienna to Fraser and realized immediately this was in a different class (with a better price). The staff, starting with Gabor and the other two at reception are all professional, friendly, and helpful. We had a large studio on the first floor which was, bright, cheerful, clean, with a great bed. It even had a private garden patio which was a bonus. all reviews » From the time that we arrived, everything went smoothly at the Fraser Residence. The staff were always attentive if anything was needed. Two different metro stops were close by so it made it easy to get to the center of town. Wifi and internet worked wonderfully well the entire time, except for a short while during one morning. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots/pans, electric kettle, stove, microwave and fridge. Even soap and cleaning sponge were included. The apartment was always well cl. We stayed for 3 nights at Fraser Residence. I changed quite a few emails before we arrived as I wanted to make sure this is the right place for us and I always received quick answers for all my questions. The apartment was beautiful, much better than we expected. The taxi driver taking us from/to the airport was very helpful, giving us lot of information on what we can do in Budapest, how we can approach places, etc. The breakfast serving staff was great, too, they did everything to make us com. We had a great time there. Convenient location (a quiet area and an excellent supermarket nearby) and parking. The appartments consist of two rooms and a large bathroom, and everithyng inside is new and shiny. We did not have any problems with the breakfast area: it is, indeed, small if you expect a restaurant, but absolutely fine for a basic breakfast of coffee, cheese and croissants. What was especially nice is that I noticed my booking form at the reception: my special request as to the room. The hotel facility is very good. we received a huge apartment on the 8th floor, with 2 bedrooms and var spacious living room and a balcony. Everything was clean and new. Towels felt as if no one have used them before. The breakfast was tasty and healthy. the staff was very helpfull and polite. They ordered a taxi for us waiting at the airport with our name and did the most to let us feel welcome I wish they would open a Fraser in Israel. It is very nice Hotel residence. Breakfast is good as well. Go there if you have the possibility to do. And it is well located on the area of corvin, so not exactly hyper city center but better to reach and with such good restaurant next to there like stex and others. It is very good for business people because when partners need to pick you up, they can reach the hotel without traffic jam... Everything was great: stuff, location, app was very spacious, clean and modern. I was impressed how kitchen was equipped: you have everything you need, all kitchen stuff, oven, microwave, dish-washing machine and even a washing machine! If you you travel with small kids like we did its definitely the best choice! When we will travel to Budapest next time, we will definitely stay here again. 1.We had a big problem of our car which was lost power totally when we just finished parking. And that was Friday afternoon, the receptionist-Gabor who is very kind, patient, friendly and helpful person. He helped us and problem solved out in next 3 hours, really thanks him!! :)) 2. Location is good, close to shopping mall and metro. -the fact that it is a fully equipped studio -big space -the living and kitchen area are separated from the bedroom by door -The living room is very spacious - bed is just awesome -good variety breakfast - very good branded products for the studio and living room equipment(bosh , Samsung, Whirlpool ) -washing mashing in the room -stove and microwave. Juan gave us excellent tips on travelling around Budapest. Both were really friendly and we felt it was really a "home away from home". The facilities were top-notched and we are glad we chose Fraser. We booked an apartment for 4. Really large, well equipped, clean and a little high-tech. The staff was helpful and professional, to mention here Reka and Artem. Breakfast was good. Also a garage with easy acsess fro the cars. Location doesn't look good at first sight, but it is safe, close to city transportation and a shopping center nearby. The helpfulness of the staff, Reka on Reception, booked us a taxi to meet us at the airport. All the staff are extremely helpful. The apartments are fabulous and very well equipped. It supposes to have washing machine in the studio, but not in ours. -the design of the toilet (the face wall above the sink is too much) -the floor was wooden but no slippers where offered -some small parts of corners of walls were chipped. It was all fabulous. Well done to everyone at the Fraser Residence. None. Would have preferred one of the apartments with a more usuable balcony. We had a washing machine but no airer, so had to drape our laundry around the room. one bed consists of 2 small ones. When sleeping, they always tend to move apart:). the location is not in the midle of the center but for me is better,is quite and still very close to everything. metro station 100 m from there. Poor Internet access. Slow and busy lift, we found walking was quicker even though we were on the 6th floor. Location is near public transport but some surrounding areas looked run down and unsafe. Not all rooms have balconies. Make sure you request a room looking over the garden when booking. Our room had no balcony and looked out on front of the street which was not very attractive. The down point is the apartment is so comfortable than you need to force yourself out of it to enjoy and equally great city outside. Breakfast could include some hot dishes. We could not find anything to complain about. Breakfast staff seemed not very attentive (waited 15 min. Several mornings before table was cleaned up and clean tableware was provided, same with refills), troubles with coffee machine at breakfast room during our stay. Breakfast is exactly the same every day. No hot food options. So after 3-4 days it gets a little monotonous. Food was fresh and typical euro buffet. Hotel recomends quite expensive parking which was 14 euro per day. But opposite hotel is public carpark with security guard. 30 euro for 1 week. Quite a lot of construction/demolition noise, starting very early in morning. Washing machine in room was complicated and came without instructions or detergent. Couldn't fault this hotel in all honesty. Not appplicable. No negatives at all !!. Small room for breakfest. Free wifi is a bit funny. You have to re-log in via there access page quite regularly. Would be better if you can just stay connected. There is nothing we didn't like :-). Breakfast without hot meal. Deposit not needed (in accordance with letsbookhotel.com information) but the hotel require to preauthorize payment for one night on the credit card after booking. Parking expensive. kitchen equipment: lack of coffeemaker and basic things like salt and pepper; also some glasses etc missing. Parking is 14€ per day and check in is from 3pm and staff nor really helpful. Beds are below 90cm which is not acceptable, not easy to find if you have navigation,. Breakfast was quite good but we would appreciate some hot meals.
