I liked the simple but clean rooms. The air-conditioning and the free wi-fi. The room had everything I needed for an overnight stay. The location was excellent - right by Jordan MTR station. The manager was helpful and friendly. the room is very clean even though the room is small and just enough for two persons and backpackers, location is very strategic, MTR Jordan station is just in front of you which u can access anywhere u want.
all reviews » got to be the cleanest budget hotel in Hong Kong, very small room though. very convenient for travel as Jordan Metro station entrance/exit B is just right in front of the hotel building entrance. Staff were extremely friendly, spoke fluent English and incredibly helpful in answering any questions. Room was very clean! Location of hostel is excellent. Right in front of Jordan mtr station. Location very good at the junction of Nathan road and Jordan road. Mrt station just right outside the building. Very helpful person in charge. Small room space but everything new and good. The location is perfect. It's right beside the Jordan subway station. And the accommodation is alright, given what I'm paying for. Overall it's pretty good for a budget trip. + Location is superb, less than 1 minute away from MTR Jordan Exit B1. Out of exit B1, look up and there's New Lucky House Building entrance. + Very clean. Very good experience! The hostel owner Stephen is pretty kind and helpful. Our room is well-designed, quiet and clean too. Its location, near very commercial avenues, up and down Nathan Road, also, subway station very close. Good a/c in the room. The entrance was not very inviting but once inside the hostel, everything was fine. Be prepared for the manager to take a small cash deposit, (200HKD in my case which was refunded on departure). Not suitable for family stay. water heater for shower is outside the hotel room, sometimes can be quite inconvenient but still acceptable. Ac made the room feel a bit damp, beds and pillows were hard and made for a relatively uncomfortable sleep. The elevators only one unit can reach level 11 and have to wait very long time as a lot of people queue up for the use. Small and busy elevators and one morning the elevators cant even reach ground floor luckily not the day we check out as we have a lot of luggage to carry. Found two small cockroach in our room. No windows in our room. The rooms were a bit too small. Nothing. Staff could improve english a little bit. Elevator is really bad. sometimes you will be waiting for 15 minutes before you're going to be able to enter it. Hard beds, and way to small. At least, if you are like 1,85 m or taller. room located in 3rd floor with windows but no refrigerator. The building is dirty, there are many hostels in it. To get simply hostel you need to wait an elevator for a long time, and then go up with a huge crowd of people. Ac and bathroom could have been of a better standard. Not all that pleased that a deposit was required given that this was not mentioned when booking. 1. Toilet super small 2. Unstable hot water supply 3. Wifi signal is not acceptable. Always 2 grade(max is 5 grade) 4. 隔音超差 5. The pillow is too hard 6. Air conditioner is too strong. The rooms are very, very small. Did not change towel. Bathroom is too small. The location is too hard to find and the building is too old and dirty.(But the room was not bad). Old building that looks under maintained. Cramped room with no windows. Been in other hostel type accommodation, this one ranks below par. The impression of the old and dirty building where is the Simply is situated with no external signs of identification (Is it a legally registered business?). Room is extremely small with no space to place the baggage except over the bed where is supposed to sleep.
