nicely decorated rooms for a cheung king hostel, location next to subway, quiet on a good night depends on luck, cheap price, bed was comfortable, shower worked, ac worked.

We were there for the Canton Fair, having transit in HongKong, not much choices as most of the hotels are fully booked and we do not want to spend too much for just a night stay. It is budget for a night stay in HK, but it is a little expensive. The room is very small (just fit in a queen size bed) but toilet is clean (fit in only 1 person). We use our luggages to blocked our door coz there's no extra lock in the room. all reviews »

I booked online to stay at Korean Hostel but when I arrived I was taken to Canada Hostel to check-in but actually stayed in Gloria's Hostel. Still the hostel room was great.
insanely small rooms, reception on different floor, tv had only 4 to 7 channels, cheung king mansion is a bit claustrophobic with no balconies connecting the tower sections. mirador mansion is a bit nicer.
Very small room.
The bed & blanket feel of moisture. I placed my shawl on top of the bed & did not use blanket for whole night. It is advisable to use your own towel & tolietries (only a packet of soap given). We reach the place at night, is rowdy. There's a lot of foreigner pushing for sales (hotel stay).
The mansions are such a fire hazard that if anything bad were to happen it would just be terrible. The place is dangerous however it is an experience. Staying one night is fine and kind of fun but any more then that is not recommended.

to put me up in a different hotel for the 1st night; the visa service
