  We loved this hotel. Everything about it is amazing. The owners have literally built this hotel from several refurbished homes and have created an amazing oasis for weary travelers. The staff were so helpful and even offered us a ride to the airport when we ran into them, even though we weren't staying with them anymore. We weren't sure how it... what people say » would be when booking it, so stayed some place else at the other end of our trip after island hopping for a few days. I wish we had stayed here at b - Marianne was very friendly and helpful. She set us up with an excellent tour guide of Old Town Rhodes and Lindos. The studio apartment was beautifully furnished and charming. It was in a great location in the old Turkish quarter of the historical city center. It is within walking distance to all the sights to see in the city, but quiet at night to get a good night's rest. The garden and rooftop terrace were a small piece of paradise. Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Because out of the main drag, very quiet. Don't know what it would be like in summer but suspect still quite quiet.

  The staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. They spoke a lot of languages and seemed interested in all their visitors. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We had a great view from our 3rd floor room of the Aegean sea. They have a bank for exchanging other currencies to Euros with reasonable rates. It was within walking distance to the Medieval City of Rhodes.

From waiting up for us when we arrived late to getting up early to prepare breakfast at 6.30am for our early departure, nothing was too much trouble for Yvonne. The hotel is in a quiet pedestrian street and is close to the beach and the old town as well as having many good restaurants very close by.   We spent two full weeks in this hotel. After many years of experience with Greek tourism (and all its drawbacks) I must say that hospitality and efficiency of Philoxenia’s staff is amazing. We were treated like in real 5 star hotel. Don’t hesitate to ask for any kind of help from car hire, directions and maps, even sincere suggestions about places... what people say » to eat and how to avoid “tourist restaurants”. Rooms are cleaned every day except Sundays and every few days linen and towels were changed. If you co - The very friendly, helpful and competent reception. Even special wishes were fulfilled gladly and immediately! The newly renovated, always tidy clean room with an excellent and quiet air condition. Delicious favorable breakfast if desired. Very good Wi-Fi receipt even on the room and free of charge! The situation at the outskirts of Rodos Town was ideal for our trips with the rented car: fast on the main street and always a parking lot before the hotel. Otherwise good bus connection (1Euro) o
