The room was clean and light. The welcome was warm, nice and informative. Me and my daughter loved the location in front of the sea side and in
the middle of the old town. It was comfortable and my daughter had a
room size private varanda. The staff was extremely helpful about
excursions and also trying to even guess what we wanted and needed. We
could make tea and eat at home, with fridge and and water boiler in the
rooms, but there were lovely restaurants just outside also.

In fact the Royal Village was overbooked and we were sent to the Royal Mare. I was very glad with the change, the Royal Mare seemed to be a much better hotel. Very big though, but we stayed at the vip rooms, close to the beach. Excellent! - Breakfast

We spent 1 week in May at Nereids. Large studios, only a few meters from the beach. There is a road in between but there was not a lot of traffic so it didn't bother. Studios very clean, modern, daily cleaning. Very nice and helpful owners. Only a short walk to the center of Sitia.

Very nice hotel, the one bedroom apartment was very spacious with two balconies with terrace and sliding doors. Very private.
Cleaners did great job - even washed the dishes. Towels were changed regularly.
Staff was friendly and always smiling.

The location was great - 5 minutes to bus stop to Chania and 5 minutes' walk to the beach. Located on a silent street, so no noise from the traffic during the night. The swimming pool was very nice and so was the breakfast-served daily between 8 and 10 with a variety of food - eggs,bacon,greek salad,musli,milk,toasts,buns,cake,yoghurt,fruits etc.
