Ideal place for travelling and visiting more from Crete. Free and fast Wi-Fi - that´s not everywhere. Well, I really do recommend this hotel as a perfect base for active stay and trips on Crete.

Loved the location easy access to Paleochora for beach and dining. Enjoyed the peace and quiet with the facilities on offer like the pool and the views of the sea.
My elderly mother was with us and in a separate twin room which was right next door.

Lovely, newly refurbished apartments. Well equipped with ample storage. Even a washing machine! Very friendly and helpful owners. A very short walk to a quiet beach and convenient for visiting many historical sites.

Matala has a wonderfull beach with clear water in a bay far from large tourist groups. It is a small village. My family and I had the most wonderful time we spent here. Effi is absolutely charming and always so friendly with everyone. We had a one week vacation at this lovely place. The calmness and the beauty of the villa and its surroundings, coupled by the most welcoming hospitality of the owners – Maria and Giannis, made it one of the best holidays we've ever had.
A coffee on the terrace facing the sea down below, the magnificent mountains, the breathtaking sunsets, and above all the pleasantness of the people of this tiny village were an unforgettable experience.
