The pool was the best feature - it was huge and well supplied withloungers, umbrellas, toilets and bar. Although the accomodation was alittle more basic than your average studio (we still had good aircon,ensuite, fridge and balcony) it was clean and ideal for our needs. Atabout £15 pounds per person, per night it was a bargain. Location/setting. Swimmung Pool. excellent pool, close to the beach and facilities were all clean. swimming pool, tft-lcd tv, location. Excellent pool. Nothing. We left.Getting a cab at the end of our stay was a mission. This is not thehotel's fault. The cab service on Poros consists of one outside phone ina booth that the drivers often let ring and ring because they can't bebothered to get out of their cabs to answer it! A tip to anyone sayingat Vasilis - leave plenty of time and walk down to the seafront to haila cab from there. Rooms and Bathrooms. Obviously a travel agency runs the studios and they have no staff on thepremises. The only person we ever saw was a cleaning lady who spoke noenglish or greek and we had to go to the city of Poros to pay for theroom. The place was clean and taken care of, but noone was ever there.It was like a ghost place -and the location must be really unpracticalfor someone who doesn't own a car. no reception or easy access to staff to get information about the local area or buses or tours or anything. there was none at the pool bar...or they were invisible. Staff could not speak or understand English. There were electric cables coming out of the floor of the room. There was no double bed. The staff spoke no English.
