Keti Apartments is run by the nicest family you could meet. Haris speaks
only Greek and a little German, though he really tried to break through
the communication barrier to help us out (where to get groceries etc).
His son Michalis speaks Greek, German, and English very well, and can
answer any questions you may have about payment, where to go, etc. The
family melts your heart when you meet them, so happy to have stayed with
them, they made our stay so memorable. The night we arrived, we came . all reviews »
Keti apartments are family run. The owner Haris, his wife and a son Michalis are a great people. They were very helpfull for anything we need. We were getting every day a lovely grapes and figs from their garden. The apartments are located in the quiet place and they are surrounded by lovely garden, flowers, trees of figs and grapes. You could take a grapes and figs from the trees whenever you want. We booked initially a room with garden view but in the end the owner gave us a room with a sea v.
Very much the relation of owners was pleasant: hospitable, kind, attentive, sympathetic people.
Excellent rest for a family, apartments are located on the coast, to a small private beach of 3 min. on foot. Remarkable compliance of the price and quality. It is a lot of taverns and little shops. The prices in taverns are much lower than in Retimno. Only stock up with means from mosquitoes, they in Greece too are. Our rest wasn't saddened by anything. The place is very quite. The apartment is full equipped.
You have a beach for yourself It is not the best beach in Crete but you can lay down and swim.
An unspoilt place in between two hotel strips, surrounded by a wonderful fruit garden. Beach just 50 meters away. The hosts Keti and Haris are the warmest people you can imagine and very interesting to talk to. We were feeling like in Eden.
The air conditioning unit in our room didn't seem to respond to the
temperature we set it to, (19 degrees) although it did work, it just
didn't get as cold as we wanted it. It definitely cooled our room at
night though, the fan function was great. We did not mention this
problem to the staff, I'm sure if we would have, they would've
looked into it.
