Nafplion centre is a short drive or 15 min downhill walk. Karathona, a beautiful sandy beach is nea - A very relaxing and peaceful place to stay. Sofia made us feel very welcome and, as we didn't hire a car, kindly picked us up and took us back to the bus station. It is a fair walk down into the town but we enjoyed the views and the exercise was needed after all the delicious Greek food! We would happily return to Nafplio, it's a lovely old city with great cafes to watch the world go by.

  It was the best hotel I've stayed in for a long time and by far the bestI've stayed in Greece. It's a nice coquet hotel with all you need andwith wonderful service! We liked the way we were treated so much, weended up buying a small gift for the owner! It was great!!!!   My husband and I were totally impressed with the Agamemnon Hotel. It must be one of the BEST hotels in Nafplio for sure. The hotel is situated on the waterfront promenade, so no traffic noise at all! The room and bathroom were quite large for European standards. There are dozens of restaurants on the pro - Perfect location, nice staff and vivid town. We could enjoy the view to the small island from the balcony. Also the parking was not a problem even if the access to the hotel is limited due to the pedestrian zone starting in front of the hotel. There are many friendly and cosy bars on the seafront. In the evening the old center is great, many restaurants and shops and many turists. We could enjoy the Greek hospitality everywhere.   The location is quiet but still near tavernas and shops. The room was attractive, spacious and clean and the bathroom very nice. I asked for non smoking and did not smell any smoke in the room. The best part was the wonderful caring attitude of the couple who run the pension. They went to great lengths to be kind and helpful, including helping ... what people say » us get gasoline during the strike. - This is a delightful little (6 room) pensione a few streets back from the main square in Nafplio. The rooms are modern, clean, and nicely decorated. But the best part of our stay was the help we got from Magra (sp?) who runs the place. Her English is good, and she made us feel at home.   It is very nice hotel in the heart of Nafplio with very good design and furniture. My room was quite small but comfortable, clean and cozy! Everything are located in walking distance: bus stop - 3 min, port - 5 min, beach - 7 min, central street - 5 sec.   We were upgraded to bungalow which was wonderful. Had private patio windows that fully opened and great view.A Little learning curve with electronics that will not appeal to everyone. I felt like royalty. We used infinity pool and found breakfast wonderful. We had visited this town three years ago and saw this hotel. I think they offer good value ... what people say » for the money but not for everyone. Too bad property not more occupied. I would definitely return as town is very charming. - The hotel room was absolutley beautiful, the staff were fantastic and I would really recommend your hotel to any other couples/families.

  A lovely, well maintained little hotel in a great location. Our room was very comfortable, and the staff friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay there again next time we visit Náfplion. - Staff was great. Facility is a reconstructed traditional mansion. Excellent work has brought it to modern standards. Very convenient location.

  Very nice flat, very clean, with a huge balcony with amazing view on the bay and the Palamidi. The flat is well furnish, they provide so much things for breakfeast!   Very nice small hotel at down town, main square of historical center of the city. Very friendly personnel, nice breakfast (possible late breakfast). Nice room and furniture. Manager (owner) of hotel personally interested many time about our staying here. Two minutes walk to sea, 15 minutes walk to the beach. Plenty of nice Greek restaurants, bar, ... what people say » shops etc. Very recommended! - Very very friendly staff, breakfast at the cafe downstairs was excellent. Location is amazing, it is in the heart of syntagma square, but at night we could sleep without any problem. I will definitely stay here again next time I come to napflio.
