Highly recommended!! I liked everything about it! It's almost like I don't want to say too much because I was so positively surprised by how we were taken care of. I've never had a better hotel experience (even at fancy places), and it felt like staying with a nice Greek family. FYI: don't get a taxi at the port, but look for the Hotel Grotta van, they pick you up. Or you can simply walk a little ways away from the ferry (we came by ferry) and look up to your left. You can see the yellow hotel

We have visited Naxos many times and this was our first time staying at the Illion Hotel. This is a family run hotel. The hotel owner was most helpful and courteous and did everything to make our stay the wonderful experience that it was. The hotel room was surprisingly clean and it felt like we were the first ones to stay in the room. All rooms have balconies with a side view of the sea and a front view of a small park. We were provided with clean towels every day and clean sheets every other day. There is a very neat and fully equipped kitchenette on each floor. Good location (1 minute walk to the beach, 5 -10 minutes walk to town center. Very close to restaurants and cafeterias. Friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast included homemade local sweets (marmelades, cakes, cookies etc). Always open kitchen which was visible from the dining area was a plus as you could see that everything was prepared in a clean environment. Also, the main entrance of the hotel was locked after 23:00 which added an extra feel of safety as there is not reception after this

The hotel is located close to everything. It's a walking distance from the port and the shopping area and the St. George beach, surrounded by restaurants and bars.
The hotel itself is easy to find, with a visible sign. The inside is nice, all marble, very clean and practical . The rooms are cleaned every day. The air conditioning is working.

Hotel literally 50 metres from beach, shops, sunset, restaurants. We were collected and dropped at port which was fantastic. Room was lovely modern and clean with balcony and wee clothes line which was so handy after the beach!! Pool lovely. Laundry service available. Staff very friendly. We just spent our time at beach so relaxing and swim was great. Loved our time here will stay if we return with out a doubt! Thank you
