Villa Pinelopi was a lovely little hotel, right in the heart of Mykonos chora (town) - only a five minute walk to the water. The hotel is designed in the traditional Greek style, with all the modern comforts indoors. Beds were comfortable, showers had good water pressure, and the AC was our saviour at night! Really though, this hotel's winning quality is its location. You just can't beat walking 50m to some of Mykonos' best restaurants and incredible shopping, all at your front door. I would de.
all reviews » Me and my sister stayed at this hotel and loved it. The owner of the hotel and all the staff were amazing. She gave me and my sister goodbye present. Location is amazing. I am a very light sleeper and I was concered about the noise. To all the light sleepers please do not worry. Once you shut the door and turn on the AC it is very quiet. Hotel was very clean and there is not one negative thing about this place. If you book this place you won't be disappointed. This location is perfect for Mykonostown shopping and wandering. It's a small set of rooms with little in the way of extras an amenities, but it's perfectly priced for what you get. Friendly staff Good facilities Clean Rooms Big bed. The staff are extremely nice. outstanding in all areas. Central location. The wifi worked very poorly, if it worked at all. The only place you could really get service was in the lobby of the hotel. It is a challenge to find when you first get there. I wish i had a dresser in my room to unload my suitcase into as we stayed for 10 days. But the closet was a suitable work around. The bathroom is in need of some refurbishment. We had trouble finding it because the streets are a bit of a maze but that is not the accomodations fault. Once we were close it was well signposted. Print the map they send you by email to help you find it!. It is so easy to get lost in this island and the map they provided is not useful for finding path. A little tough to get to, especially when having to drag luggage through the little back streets of mykonos. bit tough to find at first so make sure you have a map and arrange from transport prior to arrival as taxis cannot drive to the front of the hotel- they are all pedestrian streets.
