  Great location to explore Athens infamous Acropolis and various archaeological sites. We have stayed in a nice studio that comes with nice basic amenities, comfy beds, clean showers, fridge and a well functional A/C that keeps you cool from the heat in summer. Breakfast is served downstairs of the studio and a nice bar is few steps away. The balconies put you as close as you can get to the view. George could not have been more helpful. He went out of his way to show us around town and make sure we had evetything we needed. He even escorted us to out tour and made sure our boat would wait for us! The fresh white walls of the bedrooms in Hotel Thireas mirror the crisp white structures of Santorini. Clean, beautiful and welcoming.

  Quiet and clean at an afordable price - The room was clean enough, and the AC was excellent which is good since the outside temperature is always above 26º. The drinks in the mini bar were also 'just' expensive and not 'extremely expensive' as usual.

  This hotel is chic and very comfortable. The staff is accommodating andwarm. The gym is well equipped; we were disappointed we didn't have timefor the steam room and sauna! Check out the rooftop: there is a greatpool with a disappearing edge, extremely comfortable loungers, a fullbar, great service and plenty of tables. The staff was very accomodating. Overall, our stay was extremely enjoyable, and I highly recommend this hotel if you're willing to take a cab/public transit to the tourist attractions.

  The view from the rooms is amazing. The service was really good. We consider the hotels' roof garden with it's great view relaxing atmosphere a great place for food and cocktails. It's close to the center of Athens and we had easy access to the metro(Omonia Station). We highly recommend the Bistro next to the lobby for coffee and evening drink.... what people say » If you visit Athens and you are looking for a pleasant stay,go to Polis Grand Hotel!!! - from the moment we walked in we were made to feel welcome. The service was great and very caring. The food throughout was wonderful and fresh - at all the establishments in the Polis Grand. They offerred the freshest and best buffet breakfast we have experienced so far in our European travels. Would definitely stay here again and would not hesitate to reccommend it to anyone!
