and did not have to use the metro much at all. From our room the wifi
was weak, but we could use a neighboring hotel's wifi and it was a
good signal. We didn't eat the breakfast so I'm not sure how it
was. The fridge in the room was not already turned on, so we had to turn
it on. It was helpful to have an aditional mirror outside the bathroom

This hotel was in the perfect location! It was about a 5 minute walk to Syntagma Square and the train station there which was perfect since we arrived on the train from the airport. Tons of restaurants within a few blocks, off the main streets so very quiet. The staff was very helpful with maps and directions. We were able to walk to all the major attractions with young children. They also provided a baby bed for us free of charge. They had beverages to purchase in the lobby at very reaso

The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful.. The shopping streets are close by too, as well as lots of good eating options.

A full apt with a living room, walk-in kitchen and separate bedroom containing a pair of singles, so 3-4 fit comfortably inside and on the long balcony. Safest location, 4 mins from two Metro stops where you can pick up breakfast at the bakery and cook it in the oven. Two elevators so they always work and lovely super-friendly staff. If you are getting a price below 100euros, I cannot imagine any place that can beat this.
