  The hotel is situated in an old part of Athens called the Plaka. It is right by the Accropolis and Hadrians Gate. Very central within walking distance to the center of town. 5 minutes from the Metro. There are shops and restaurants close by and an excellent old town square. The breakfast is OK and the dinning room pleasant. While I was there there... what people say » were people with small children and they seemed to be happy. There are two PCs in the lobby and genrally really good value for money.   The location of Athos Hotel is perfect. We took the metro from the airport to Syntagma Square, then walked only about three blocks to the hotel. It's close to restaurants, sights and shopping, but on a quieter side street.   The hotel was in a perfect location to access all sites by foot. We did not need to use the metro. The area was not the upper end of town, but we always felt safe and had no issues at all. The staff we very friendly and helpful and the rooms were well equipped.   Yeah, the room was the best of trip, it was better than i excepted for the price, and it was also very nicely decorated. Good location there are, it's so close the Acropolis。 - Excellent value for your money, can't find a better deal for this location. Friendly and accommodating staff.
