the hotel staff were excellent, the rooms were very clean and comfortable and the hotel itself was close to the city centre - Very quiet for a city like Athens. It was clean and except for one lady who did not speak either Greek, English or French, the staff were very helpful and friendly.

The Athos is located within walking distance of the Plaka area and the Acropolis as well as the Temple of Zeus and Hadrian's Arch...we are walkers but this is easy walking. If you can get a room on the 4th floor you can get a spectacular view of the Parthenon from your window. Either way the view from the roof is just as beautiful..
