Kos Hotels

I stayed in Alexandra Hotel, Kos in early May this year. Being before the tourist season the location was just great - just a short walk to the harbour or to the town centre, and at this time of year it was quiet through the night - even though one of the most used streets is passing by the hotel. This might be wrose during the season with motorbikes etc. The hotel is modern and tasteful. It is a pleasant breakfast room, with separate departments for smokers and non-smokers. This was a very clean and comfortable hotel. I had a room on the "first" floor with a balcony. What A view. The stgaff was very helpful, friendly. You are across the street from the only pharmacy that stays open late everynight. Great places to go around the are by foot. You can rent bikes nearby. You can rent a car at the desk (They contact a company). (Do go for Kosmos - you are safer and better off especially if you get in a car accident - no hassles). I am returning this summer - Paul

We have just had an extremely enjoyable holiday staying at this hotel. Our first impression was 'wow, fabulous' and that did not change during our stay. Our room was very comfortable and had everything,and more, that we could possibly need for a comfortable stay. Being virtually built on the beach the impression from our balcony and room was that the hotel was built on stilts in the sea. The views were marvellous. there was always something to watch from the balcony at the port, on the sea or in - Gordon

Just to say a big thanks to all the staff of Leonidas Hotel who were very welcoming and helpful to us, making us feel like we were in our home. The hotel is located in a peaceful location no more that 15 minutes walk from the port and 10 minutes from the beach. You can always hire a bike or a moped if you want to visit the villages of Kos , or otherwise you can use the local bus. I think the price that we paid for a one week stay was far too low as our room was equipped with a kitchenette, a fri - Angela

We stayed at Koala hotel in August this year. We were three friends (25-29 years old) from Thessaloniki and stayed in Kos for seven nights. The Hotel is a small friendly family Hotel with a small swimming pool, just enough for a quick dip after a long hot day. The rooms are very clean and cozy, although we used to leave the room untidy, we always found the room clean and neat. Found the Americana by chance, our luck must have been in. Chris the owner is the perfect hostess who made us feel welcome from our first contact (Lizzie her very friendly little dog was the very first to give us a warm welcome). The hotel is small and was completely renovated last year to a very high standard. It's the first time we have every had a kingsize bed in Greece! Bedrooms are comfortable, made more so by the provision of free air conditioning, there is also a tv in each room, bathroom - Stephen

location of the hotel is perfect... just 2 min two bar street and city center.. prices are good compared to other hotels in island. but our room wasn't so clean but may be that's because our room was a triple room.. - Russell

It is a small but very friendly Hotel. It is very close to the marina, so we didn't have to walk far. We totally recomend it. John - Ross
