We just love this hotel and its staff (owners and all other staff). To say that they are nice, kind, helpful, friendly - it is like say nothing. We felt there just like at home! Those was our 4-th time in Greece but first time we just cry at the end because we would like to stay longer (best would be forever :) ). Shortly that was our best holidays ever - Thank you Aphrodite, Dimitri, Janes and Nikos, thank you for your unbelievable hospitality. We are looking forward to next holidays at your h.
all reviews » What a wonderful experience. This family-owned & -operated hotel was just what we were looking for at the end of our honeymoon. After running around much of Turkey and Crete, our last few days of sun and sand here was just what the doctor ordered. While the balconies of the ocean view rooms face more of the opposite hotel (Molos Bay), there is still plenty of sea to be seen. The room was large, the bed was perfectly firm, and they even put out flowers on the bed to welcome us (I had remarke. One of the biggest values of this hotel is its hosts - wonderful family (and their staff): they are always helpful and very kind people. Location of this hotel is ideal too: very close to the sea, just few steps. Rooms are always clean, there are air conditioners in the rooms also. Good breakfast and wonderful service (drinks and etc.) at the beach, as in the hotel, too. Hotel is great for families - not crowded, small and safe beach, swimming pool for all ages of children and adults as well. V. It was a great pleasure to stay at this hotel. The owners met us when we arrived lately at night end were very helpful and nice. Rooms were very clean, new and functional. Big Greek supermarket is in 200 M.distance where you can buy fruits, bread end meat. We enjoyed to eat our lunches on our balcony, wich provide a nice shadow. Hotels breakfasts were delightful to come to in the mornings. In the evenings we enjoyed to eat at some very nice restaurants nearby the hotel. It was our first time on. We were warmly greeted upon our late evening arrival and immediately knew that we had made the right choice to go to Aphrodites. The rooms are airy, spacious and clean. Our surprise was the excellent breakfast buffet the next morning and then the magnificent location! Our lovely hostess and family were always helpful and obliging and recommended great traditional restaurants for dinner - I highly recommend Aphrodites. This hotel is amazing! The hotel is located right on a sandy beach with sunbeds and umbrellas for free. The rooms are very clean, big and cozy. The owner-family and the entire staff are incredibly friendly, they do everything to make your stay unforgettable and the most pleasant. The hotel is extremely clean, rooms are very confortable and spacious, all equipped with a very useful kitchenette. The beach, umbrellas, shallow crystal blue water for 50 metres with a sandy bottom, perfect for our 3 yr old, plus we could go further out for a swim. I think, that it could help to those people who are not used to sleep on a hard matresses to provide some thin matresses which could be used on top of the hard ones. I would suggest that first time visitors definitely take the bus trip into Chania to explore the Old Venetian town - we unfortunately only discovered this en route back to the ferry. Mostly just about the area in itself, not much to do in Kissamos if you are looking for some night life and so on. But take the bus to Chania or Agia Marina and you have all you need there. (Could reccomend the cozy restaurant by the hotel, owners super friendly and food delicious!) The big supermarket is always closed! :( plenty of mini markets in the area though. No significant negative aspects. Only one comforter in the room, gave it to our son. Therefore didn't sleep the best since one sheet isn't very cozy for me. A bit too costly for Greece standard. The room was very basic and got hot in the afternoon. Air conditioning did not properly. The shower did not have shower door so the floor would get really wet. The location was far from airport (2.5 hr of drive). It was not easy since we had early morning departure. Beds are too hard :-(. Kissamos was empty, not many options for eating or going out for the night. When we were trying to switch on electric oven, the main electric switch was off and it was a problem to us oven. The hotel was not that charming, looked like every other hotel. side sea view was reffered as sea view.
