FANTASTIC!!!! If you are debating where to stay in the Chania area, this is the place! The staff treated us as family, warm and inviting, embracing us and our children. Fresh-made breakfast each morning on the terrace overlooking the South Aegean Sea was like a dream. The rooms were very clean and tended to, and the grounds were beautiful. Kalamaki beach is a few minutes walk, as well as a small grocery store, wonderful restaurants, and the bus stop to take you into Chania city center in 15 m.

A very nice swimming pool with a wading pool for children. A cosy hotel and surroundings, compact rooms. The owner speaks English fluently. The sheets and towels are changed. You can hear street traffic, but the street isn't so close as to be a nuisance. We had great summer holidays in this hotel. We liked everything about this hotel. First of all, the staff was amazing. Sophia, the owner, gave us a very warm welcoming, she was very helpful and kind. The hotel is situated on a hill. We had a room with a sea view which was breath taking. Breakfasts were huge, and cleaning service was provided everyday, which we didn't expect for a 2 star hotel. I would recommend this hotel to anybody. About the apartments, worth more than You pay, clean, with great view. Additional plus is big car parking. Highly recommend!. Staff were so helpful & even came to get us in their car as we got lost! Breakfast was plentiful & lots to choose from. All in all we had a great stay even though it was pouring with rain all the time we were there. View from all of the rooms is AMAZING, overlooking the ocean. The staff, especially Sophia are all so helpful and friendly. Kalamaki beach is a true gem, quiet and beautiful, the sand and water are clean and pure. The airport shuttle. Sophia collected us from the airport after midnight and we were in our apartment within 50 mins drinking wine and admiring the view. Lovely host, very much appreciated. The Staff were Fantastic. Pool was clean. hotel vigla is a very relazing place to stay sophia really lookes after you breakfast isvery good and place very clean so is the pool thanks sophia for all you did you us. Proprietor & staff all helpful. Location really great - had all that we needed. Very nice accomodation with flair, view and very warm and professional managment. very friendly and helpfull staff great view. Great views and friendly staff. the view and the warm welcome of the staff. Parking was very difficult but it was possible to park on the main road nearby if preferred. It not a dislike but would of been good to have a bar or a similar area to sit and have a drink and meet other guests and staff socially. The trip was only three days, next time for one week. The location was up a steep side street and wasn't marked very well. It took us a while to find it. the fact they made party without notice after midnight, very annoying for somebody who wants to relax the bed was not comfortable at all and you can feel all the springs on your body the toilet had pipes like it was under construction no parking (it is mention that there is parking).
