Our stay at the Aqua Luxury Suites was the highlight of our two-week trip to the Greek isles. My husband and I found this an ideal spot for our honeymoon. A few things to note: - The facility is stunning. Each suite is on its own level with its own character. - The hotel's location in Imerovigli is ideal. all reviews » We (4 adults and a 2,5 year child) stayed 3 nights at the wonderful Grand Suite with an astonishing view of the lagoon and volcano. Even though it might not be advisable for such a small child due to steep climb to and from the Suite it was still pretty much manageable. Big Cruisers coming in to the lagoon very early in mornings, you could hear a distant honking when leaving late evenings for new wonderful Greek islands. At evenings we saw dolphins or they could have been harbor porpoises, har. Beautiful accommodation with fabulous views to the volcano and caldera. Amazing sunset which I enjoy from my terrace. A beautifully furnished boutique hotel. A wonderful place if what you are looking for, is a luxury, relaxing holiday in a magnificent island. I enjoyed a lot the tasteful and homemade breakfast. Management (Mrs. Niki) and Staff of this hotel are absolutely superb. Do not forget to follow the path to Fira. This walk through the traditional Imerovigli village facing the volcano it. - The hotel manager went out of her way to give us a quick run down of what's what on the island, including good restaurants with price breakdowns, where to rent ATV's, what local sites to check out, and other tidbits that helped push our experience over the top - The views from the room were simply amazing and almost felt like you were looking at a movie screen - The staff in general was always at our beck-and-call and repeatedly went out of their way to make our experience a pleasant one. We stayed with some friends at Aqua Suites unfortunately only for one night. The view from our suite was breathtaking. Perfect view. My only recommendation to the hotel is to consider some well-placed curtains on the edges of the suites to offer a tad bit more privacy. A curtain just at the edge of the honeymoon suite's jacuzzi, for example, would allow a bather the privacy of the bath without having to interact with the guests on the neighboring balcony. It seems like a simple, inexpensive upgrade that would make a huge difference. (But this is a minor suggestion, not a complaint...). Suggestion of coffee being served hotter or perhaps a kettle in the room. Nothinh.
