Located on the east coast of Santorini, Cycladic-style Aghios Artemios Traditional Houses is 100 metres above the sea. Set in a 15th-century building complex, it offers whitewashed, cave-style rooms around a scenic churchyard. A pool provides panoramic views over the Aegean Sea. Rooms are individually decorated with blue and white colours, built-in beds and traditional furnishings. Each includes a satellite TV and fridge. All units have views to the churchyard or the Aegean Sea and some feature a terrace. Breakfast is served in the spacious dining room of the Traditional Houses Aghios Artemios or in the sun terrace with views of the sea. I would say that this is our best ever choice to spend our honeymoon in such a beautiful hotel. Everything just exceed our expectation. This is a quiet place, rooms are clean and neat, staffs are very friendly and helpful. Can you image a blue-doomed church sits just a few meters away from your room? Thank Yvonne for helping us to get to know Santorini even half a year before we would go there, and thank you for preparing us that surprising candlelight dinner, we are deeply moved by such a roma.
all reviews » We loved our stay at Aghios Artemios Traditional Houses. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Food is amazing and wine even better. They treat you as a part of the family which is very rare nowadays. Mrs. Yvone contacted us for any assistance and arranged rent a car for us. The rooms were clean and simply beautiful. Every corner of the property had own story and amazing view. We love the fact they have two beautiful dogs who are loving. We highly recommend this place. Visit and enjoy. This hotel was absolutely beautiful. The rooms were simple but very clean, the breakfast room and pool bar area also spotless. There were flowers everywhere and the decor of blue and white was stunning. The owners made you feel very welcome and went out of their way to sort out any problems (in my case, a need to see a pharmacist). The staff are very hard working but are always extremely polite and friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Thank you Yvonne and Artemis :)). It's a very traditional Greek house with a nice view. The cave room is so beautiful and clean.All the staff including the boss are very friendly.They will tell u all the information they know about Santorini. The dogs named Milu and Leo are nice and pretty. In the morning we left the hotel, the host took us to the airport before 6:00 am.He is so kind and nice. Exceptional resort for those who love tranquility and peace. Surrounded by nature, very kind owners with their adorable dogs leon, milù and cuddly kittens. Clean and cozy it feels in a magical atmosphere. Need to rent a car to visit the island, just a few minutes away from Fira. Nice place to stay only if you have rented a car. The rooms are excellent and there is a small swiming pool. But I have to say the cook of this hotel is very good. We like it a lot. The boss is very friendly and helpful. The location required the use of a car but we were aware of this prior to our stay as it is advised by the hotel. I think if we were to return we would look at taxi prices instead of car hire. Nothing. Location is a little bit far and not easy to find. But with a car and google map, everything would be OK. that my vacation ended!!!. Dog barking noise at night. Need to have trsnsport. Only hand held shower.
