Everything. The staff were so helpful and friendly. They arranged car hire at a special discounted rate with the car being delivered to and collected from the hotel, and they were more than happy to pick us up at the port on arrival and take us back there for our departure, a journey of 10km. These two transfers were included free in the very reasonable price. The hotel has 23 rooms which are quite comfortable and spacious, things you would not expect for the price. Nearly all rooms have a balc.
all reviews » What a lovely hotel. Shuttle service from Port, close to Fira village shops and restaurants, bus station and caldera. Rooms so clean, fresh and serviced daily. Simple breakfast of cheese, meat, bread, juice and coffee. We were there in May and very quiet and relaxing. Internet excellent but in main area not rooms. Cost was so cheap for all of. This and we will return in 3 weeks. Budget friendly, clean and fantastic. Finally we stayed at Villa Popi because the owner is the same. So concerning the staff they were very polite, friendly and always helpful. The owner came to pick us up from the port and he offered to bring us back as well. We stayed at April the price for the comforts provided was incredibly low. I stayed in Villa POPI. It is a great hotel with very close location to major attractions and bus stations. The staff is very friendly. The owner saw us at the port even after 1:00am. We were very happy with our stay. Owner was very nice, he dropped us and picked us up from the port. That is really helpful in santorini. Place is close to Fira town. Breakfast was good. I would totally recommend this place for the value. The hotel is nice and clean. The lobby and dining hall are filled with paintings of Santorini background which make it so warm and welcoming. Just across the hotel is a museum and a traditional chapel. The hotel has great design and is situated in quite area. Near the hotel there is a moto rental company where you can rent a quadro and explore whole the island. The hotel has a free shuttle service. Central location (2min walk to centre of town) - right in the midst of Fira amongst the action at night and easy to access beaches by day. Endless hot water. Spacious enough room. Convenient location, quiet but not too far from market square (10-15 minutes walk). Had a balcony with a glimpse of the sea. Nice staff and valued facility for budget room. Will be great if room has wifi avaliable. nice and kind host.very near to town.they gave us also hair dryer and iron for clothes. Kind staff, we could leave all our packages there while were on trip to oia. there are excellent restaurant nearly the hotel. Friendly staff, and the location was very good. It was clean. New towels and bedclothes everyday. Its a perfect hotel to spend a few days in Santorini in couple or young people with not high spectations. 10 mins walking for everything. FIRA is the best location of the island. After checking out, they took us to the port. About 35 euros per night for Fira in July is not bad. Room was cleaned every day. Room was spacious and clean, with an amazing balcony. I appreciated the free shuttle to the port. Place we stayed was clean and quite , as already advised didn't stay at the hotel we had booked. Quite a simple and basic hotel close to the city which great value for the money. Comfortable bed. Price is good. We found nothing to dislike at this hotel. No problems at all. The way shower works. Water flooded bathroom when showering. Couldn't pay with credit card even though they claimed that you could with a day's advance notice. Had to pay cash. Took some pushing to get a receipt. just a little bit far from the bus station. The location could be better because the best of Fira is the views from the hill. But it is in the best side of the island in the west coast. Dont go to the east one. The breakfast very poor but is this way in Greece. To reach the city center you need 12-13 minutes upgoing way, so if you have a vehicle, it 's much easier. No shampoo, neither after request. When I arrived, I was put in a building down the street where I had no wifi, and wifi was one of the main reasons I chose the property. Although it was stated I could pay by credit card, upon check out I was told I had to pay cash. We didn't actually stay at the Sea of Aegeon . We were taken to a small house further down the road . No facilities of any type,couldnt buy a drink or any food !! at the hotel Steep hill to get to the main area. The beds were VERY uncomfortable. We tried to organise a airport transfer via the Internet before leaving. But no response. Staff were rude and borderline inhospitable, air con didn't work, room was not as described. If someone wants pay by credit card, it need to inform staff one day ago.
